DAY 2
"How was you first day girlie?" Vivica asked, before taking a sip from her wine. "It was perfect I guess, I had fun" I replied, twirling the wine I had ordered from the bar here, around in the cup.
"You don't look so happy Chica. What's the problem?" Vivica asked dropping her wine glass, and drawing her laptop closer to her.
We're currently on a video call. Apparently, she felt it'd be nice to check on me after my gig yesterday. Which i thought was so nice of her. And we have been talking and getting to know each other, over glasses of wine.
"I don't know Viv, I just felt like it wasn't enough. Like I did well, but maybe they didn't like it enough?" I frowned slightly, and took a sip of wine from the cup, to calm myself down. (here we go again, with my guessing)
"Oh nonsense!!. I spoke with Rocco and he said you were great. Gli uomini non riuscivano a toglierti gli occhi di dosso" (the men couldn't get their eyes off you). Vivica said to me, making me gasp.
"Really he said that?" I asked my eyes wide, and my lips forming a wide grin. "Yes he did Chica, Puoi andare a chiederglielo" (you can go ask him) Vivica shrugged, before reaching for her wine glass that she had abandoned earlier.
I smiled at her, saying a little cheers and drinking my wine. Ever since Vivica found out I am half Italian, she has been speaking to me in the language. (Not like I'm complaining).
We spoke about random things for hours. Vivica kept telling me about life here, the names of the other girls and how they behave.
"Look tesoro, I wouldn't say you shouldn't make friends. But, I want you to know that all the girls here are only after one thing, and that is money. They will do anything for it. They would delete any competition." She started, playing with her perfectly manicured fingernails.
"Voglio che tu stia attento. Non fidarti di nessuno in particolare di Tiffany." She said, staring at me intently. (I want you to be careful. Trust no one especially, Tiffany)
"Tiffany? Who's she?" I asked, wanting to know more about this Tiffany girl. "Tiffany, era qualcuno che chiamavo mia amica. Ma immagino che fare amicizia qui sia impossibile." She continued, with a sad smile. (Tiffany was someone I called my friend. But I guess making friends here is a no go)
"Forgive me Melanin. I just prefer speaking in Italian" she apologized immediately, thinking my scrunched up expression was because of my inability to understand.
"No it's alright. I don't mind. It's just that it looks like you guys had it rough" I said, finishing my wine with a long sip.
"Of course you can say it that way. That my dear, is a story for another day. I'll leave you to get dressed, I have somewhere to be. I'll call you" she said, hanging up before I could even say a word.
Who was this Tiffany girl, and what happened between them? I need answers but, that'll be later because it was time to get ready.

"OKAY MEN AND WOMEN, ARE YOU READY FOR OUR GIRL BLACBARBIE?" The MC shouted into the microphone, and the crowd roared outside. "OKAY THEN GIVE IT UP FOR BLACBARBIE" he shouted, and I strutted into the room.
I walked slowly and seductively, towards the stage, flashing sexy smiles and throwing air kisses to the men and women seated in the crowd. I got on the stage and started my routine. Tonight, I decided to take it up notch. I added a little bit sass and efforts to my costume.
