"Alice I'm home!"
"Alice?"
Alice's P.O.V.
She knew nothing, I was hiding in the entry closet under all the jackets and shoes.
I jumped out and sacred her so bad that she fell over.
I held up a sign saying "Sorry."
She accepted my apologie.
Then I relized she had a box with holes in it. So I held up another sign saying "whats in the box?"
"A present from your dad to you."
I asked if I could open it and she said sure.
I opened the box and it had a little german sheperd puppie with bright blue eyes.
I named him Lio.
He was sooo cute!
While I took Lio out I glanced at my mom, she didn't look to well.
"Mom, are you ok?"
"Ya, I'm fine. Just a bit tired I guess. I'm going to go to bed."
"Ok."
A couple hours later I went to go get my mom up.
She was pale and cold, I could not see her chest rise and fall, I could not feel her touch when I grabbed her hand. I started crying, Lio came running and jumped on me and licked my face. I smiled a bit but then imedietly started crying again. I called 911 and Bryanna.
"Alice what happened?"
"M.. m.. my mom is dead." I started bawling. Bryanna has always been my best friend and supported me.
"But now I dont have a place to stay."
"I would let you stay at my place, but we are going on a cruise, otherwise I would let you stay."
"Oh, ok."
Lio started licking my face again.
Bryanna and I started laughing.
