An editor is a person who edits (i.e. makes changes to) documents or audio-visual works. They help the authors in editing their works so that there is no conceptual or technical error.
Proofreader's Work
Proofreaders check and edit written documents, articles and books before they are published. They provide a final quality check before written work is made available to the public.
