Elliot Michael Fallen. a name Doc had only heard a few times, but he'd heard all about him. the alcohol abuse, the drug abuse, the beatings he'd given his son, the beatings he'd given his wife. he'd heard the stories of how Monty's mother, Michelle McQueen, had finally filed for divorce. took Monty out away from Elliot when he was 5. he'd heard all about her sudden death, ruled a suicide, but was probably a homicide. he'd heard all about the kids abuse how it'd gotten worse when he got older. how he ran away when he was 14 after being outted as gay. how he'd run from the hospital beat to hell with $2000 dollars he'd managed to snatch from his father before running off. he knew all about how he'd met Mack by chance, while the younger was being attacked at truck stop. he'd heard it all, but he never imagined he'd get to meet the man. never thought he'd come across the bastard, especially in his own town.
he was sitting on his couch relaxing when Mack burst into the house.
"DOC!" Mack shouted. Doc jumped, nearly falling off the couch, he'd almost been asleep. he sat up and looked at Mack, confused.
"wha-" Doc tried.
"some guy named Elliot is beating the hell out of the boss! locked them both in Sheriffs station we can't get in there. I've never seen the kid this terrified." Mack said. Doc ran for his pistol, faster than Mack realized he could move. he shoved Mack out of the way and ran towards the Sheriffs station. he was busy checking to make sure there was bullets in his gun as he ran.
"where is he?" Doc ask, nearly slamming into Sheriff.
"he locked both him and the kid inside the building." Sheriff said. "any idea who this guy is?" Sheriff ask. Doc quickly walked around him, looking at the Sheriffs station.
"homophobe named Elliot Fallen. husband of Michelle Fallen, now McQueen. father to Monty McQueen." Doc said, shoving the pistol into the back of his pants. "anyway in?" Doc ask. Sheriff shook his head just as Lightning came flying through the glass pane window. he tumbled across the ground with a whimper, laying face first on the ground in the dirt and shattered glass, gasping for air and bloody. he tried to get up, giving a cry of pain when someone stomped onto his back and dropping his face back into the dirt. he whimpered loudly, body trembling under the persons boot.
"this is where you've been hiding!?" Elliot shouted. "this is where I find you!? in some shoddy little town shacking up with who knows how many of these men!?" Elliot hissed. Doc growled lowly, narrowing his eyes at Elliot.
"get off him." Doc growled lowly stomping towards him. Elliot glared at him.
"watch it. one more step I'll snap his neck." Elliot grinned, stepping on the younger neck. he hissed in pain, but couldn't move.
"I said, get off the kid." Doc growled lowly. "so do yourself a favor and get the hell off him." Doc hissed, pulling the pistol from his pants. "I don't miss." Doc warned, taking careful aim. oh he could put a bullet in the mans head right now.
"shoot me and I'll snap his neck before I even drop in the dirt." Elliot warned.
"you better watch it. he's your ticket out of here and he's turning a little blue." Doc warned. Elliot glanced down at the man under his boot and decided it was safer to stand on his back. Lightning lifted his head a little to look at Doc. he coughed and dropped it back into the dirt.
"shoot'em." Lightning managed.
"shut it Montgomery." Elliot hissed, pressing his boot down harder. Lightning cried out, coughing up blood into the dirt.
"jus' shoodem." Lightning muttered, breathing heavily. Doc cast a glance down at him.
"let go of Monty or I'm putting a bullet between your eyes." Doc warned. he turned his head slightly towards Sheriff. "get an ambulance, or two. he's gonna need one too." Doc mumbled. Sheriff nodded quickly, picking up his cell phone. he turned back to Elliot and tossed the pistol aside. he was going to beat this bastard with his bare hands. he inched closer, eyes on Lightning. "kid?" Doc ask.
