Bits and pieces of Korean he learned from his mom
•Basic history• Shiloh is the middle child of a well to do family. His father a kidney doctor and his mother a lawyer, expectations were high right out of the gate. His moms parents were second generation immigrants from Korea and very strict in their desire for their daughter to achieve the very best out of the American dream, making for a largely cold and distant woman who had high standards of her own. His father was more lax, joking around enough to even out the playing field enough that Shiloh didn't have an absolutely miserable childhood but not standing up to his wife enough to protect Shiloh from the brunt of the criticisms.
As the middle child and only son, Shiloh felt like the black sheep of the family almost as far back as he could remember. Not only were his sisters both exceptional in some variety of sports or academics where he was a nervous kid afraid to apply himself, but his mother clearly had very specific ideas on how a growing boy was supposed to act and he met none of those. Shiloh cried, a lot. Wether it was from accidentally stepping on a bug or because he'd disappointed someone in some small way, the kid was so sensitive that sniffles and wet lashes were almost a daily occurrence. They tried everything they could to toughen him up, forcing him to join sports teams and responding to any of his concerns with a comment of how he needed to suck it up. But alas, the criticisms only festered life-long complexes and insecurities that Shiloh still struggles with.
