Black salons have been around for generations but the conversations, memories, solutions, and life lessons made inside haven't. The people inside the salons, the men and women, the connections made. They can't be made anywhere else. There is no way to freely express yourself in the world without being either famous or judged. We can all relate to that. People can come in here bawling and leave laughing or smiling. Salons can bring out the better of a person, or let them release their pain. All  while getting your hair done, the way you want it. Natural, Perm, Weave, some salons can do it all.  Someone could come in and say,'' Hey Ladies, how are you.'' With all the hair on their head looking crazy, and nobody would care. They'd welcome them give you a seat, and a subtle conversation would kick off. It would be about anything. The stylist could make a joke and someone could carry it on for an hour. The environment could be heart warming, or gentle and spiritual.

But that comes from sisterhood and the excellence of a Black women. It comes from everyone support her. It comes from learning the history of her roots. Understanding that everyone has different hair styles, learning how to manage them.
