The wind felt like a soft breeze against his skin, barely making him realise that it was a cold evening. The only light he seemed to find was one of the light posts he was cycling by. A heavy sigh left his lips as he finally came to a hold, breaking as he climbed off his bike, parking it on the side as he walked towards a familiar tree. He struggled for a second to grab his phone as he looked at the time, which read 2 AM.

"The things I do for friendship.", he muttered as he walked towards the tree, a cold breeze following him.

"Jungkook!" he heard from a distance, making him look further towards the tree, only to see a familiar face waiting for him. "Jimin. What the hell, why did you call me at 2 AM?" Jungkook muttered in an angry tone as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Geez, you're so moody. But I couldn't sleep, and I wanted you to at least suffer with me. You know that I'll be picking my friend up soon from the airport, and I'm so excited to see him again.", Jimin claimed excitingly. His brown hair waving through the air as a cold gush of wind filled the area. A shiver ran up the raven-haired boy's spine.

"Soon is in 8 hours. I thought this was an emergency. Not a- If I go down, you're coming with me-  type of situation.", Jungkook complained as he sat down next to his friend, leaning back on the tree. His eyes and body were as tired as when he had woken up.

"Oh, come on, don't be grumpy. We usually always sleep here anyway.", Jimin replied with a slight smile. His face twisted up into a beautiful crescent smile. Jungkook shook his head as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms, trying to hold himself warm. "Only because we're too lazy.", the raven boy laughed, sending his best friend into giggles.

"Say Jungkook", the elder of the two spoke. "Hm?" the other let out tiredly, inhaling the evening air, enjoying the silence around them. "Please be nice to him when I introduce you.", Jimin asked of him, making the younger break out into a smile. "Only if you don't replace me.", the boy replied.

"Don't worry. You are irreplaceable."

But how sweet that lie seemed to the raven-haired boy now as he stood a few meters away, seeing his best friend under their tree with another guy; The one who had been here for days. The one Jungkook had not even once met personally. It already had been 1 1/2 weeks since that day. The day he last talked to his best friend. The day his best friend claimed he would never replace him. Then what did the boy feel now? The raven had sneaked out every day now for the last few days, watching his best friend and the guy sit under their tree, laughing and telling jokes.

Jungkook did not know how long he stood under the open sky, watching them before it had started to rain. He stood there with his bike. His head tilted upwards as it rained heavily. He could feel his hair go wavy and the way the water dripped down his skin. His socks were completely wet, but he was too upset for it to bother him. Jungkook closed his eyes as he let the rain wash over him. Carefully, he once again looked over to the tree, where he could not find his best friend. No, but instead, he found the other guy staring at him in wonder.

The raven himself analysed the guy, seemingly recognising him from pictures. He had lushes brown hair, and his eyes seemed to sparkle brightly in the night. However, Jungkook could not fully make him out. He only had in mind what he had remembered from what Jimin told him.

"Taehyung, let's go. We'll get sick.", a familiar voice shouted from a distance, making the male look away from Jungkook and proceed to go to Jimin. The raven sighed as he watched the exchange, grabbing his phone and seeing multiple miss calls from his mother, who was calling him to tell him to come back home. Even though; they had argued. However, Jungkook did not decide to pick up the phone. Instead, he looked at it blankly. His anger was now only washing into sadness as he watched his screen get as wet as he was.
