"Why? Do you wish it was you?" I say holding her chin between my index finger and my thumb
She slaps me on my cheek causing my head to snap to the side.
"How dare you, I would never" She exclaims
"Your face says otherwise," I say pointing out the rose color pigment starting to form on her cheeks.
"Damn you hit hard," I say rubbing my cheek
"Shit, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you," She says quickly
"Whatever, just get out" I respond heading to my bathroom
"And stay out this time" I add
Once I hear the door close I grab an extra rag from under the cupboard and soak it in some warm water. After it's done soaking I squeeze out the water and place the rag on my cheek.
I walk back into my room and grab my phone to text my best friend, Alex. I quickly tell her to come over and she says she is on her way. After a couple of mins, I hear Aria yelling my name.
"What do you want? " I ask while walking down the stairs
"Someone's at the door for you," She says from what I'm assuming is the kitchen
I walk to the door to see Alex leaning against the door frame
"Hey bitch" I greet her
"Hey hoe" She responds back
"Let's go upstairs," I say
"Lead the way"
After we head upstairs and into my room I hop onto my bed while Alex goes over to my secret compartment.
"Really?" I ask her
"What, do you really expect me to be sober while you yell at your stepmom and you're dad yells at you for some dumb shit? " She says rolling a blunt
"Good point, here," I say holding out my lighter
I lit the blunt and she took a long hit.
"Give me this shit," I say taking the blunt out of her hand and taking a hit.
"Speaking of my bum ass father he isn't even here. He is on a business trip that he didn't even bother to tell me about until earlier today. " I say handing it back to her
"Wow that's fucked up, and I thought I had daddy issues," She says
"How does Miss Full house feel about this unexpected trip? " She says referring to Aria.
"She doesn't seem too happy about it," I say
"Then, make her happy about it," She says taking another hit
"The fuck is that supposed mean? "
Aria knocks on my door and steps into the room.
"Analise dinner is ready, will Alex be staying for dinner?" She asks
"Yeah"
She walks out and heads back downstairs.
"What I mean is that you have been in the same house as her for what a year and a half, and you've never considered tapping that," She says handing me the blunt
I took another long hit.
"Not really and if I have that's my dad's wife, I can't do that to him. Like he may be a grade-A ass hole but I still love him." I explain
"Okay, but don't be surprised when she starts to get clingy"
"Yeah, like that'll ever happen"
"Who knows she might just make the first move."
"Okay weirdo whatever you say. Let's go I got the munchies" I say putting out the blunt and putting the light into my back pocket.
We walked downstairs and saw Aria sitting at the table eating, she smiled once she saw Alex and me.
I sat down in the seat closest to her and Alex sat across from me we began eating when Alex decided to be a dumb bitch and ask Aria a question.
"Do you like Annalise Mrs.Smith?"
Her entire face turned red as Alex signaled her to talk
"Um no that would be extremely inappropriate Alex," She said acting like her face wasn't red
"What are you talking about Mrs. Smith I meant if you like Annalise as a step-daughter," Alex said sending me a teasing smile
"O-oh um well then yes," she said her face going redder
"Okay, I was just wondering," She said flashing Aria an innocent smile
I look up at Aria and I guess she feels my eyes on her because she soon looks up into my eyes. Her cheeks become redder as she quickly looks away.
"Well I hope you enjoyed dinner, I will be upstairs if you need me," Aria says getting up from the table
"Thanks for dinner Mrs. Smith," Alex says as she gets up to leave
"Leaving so soon?" I ask her
"Yeah, I gotta get home and I'm not tryna get my ass beat by you" She explains
"Alright, later," I say staring at my plate
"Bye, love you," She says as she places a kiss on my cheek
"Love you too" I respond
"She is as lively as ever" Aria says walking up the stairs
"Yeah," I mumble
After I finish my dinner I pack all the dirty dishes into the dishwasher then head upstairs. As I get to top of the stairs I bump into Aria as she is stepping out of the bathroom.
I smirk at her.
"Why do I get the feeling you wanted me to notice you Ms. Smith? " I ask her coyly
"Well your wrong Ms. Carter" She says fixing her towel
"Mmm" I hum as I allow my eyes to trail down her body and her legs, then back up to her face which is now bright pink.
"What? " she asks
I lean down next to her ear, so close that I can feel her warm breath on my neck.
"You should lose the towel, hides too much of what wants to be seen." I whisper
I back away, letting my lips brush against her ear causing a visible shiver to run down her spine.
I walk towards my room door, but pause.
"If you need me, for anything at all, just remember I'm a few knocks away." I say before entering my room and closing the door behind me.
I walked to my room and was about to put my beats on when I heard a buzzing? I opened my door and walked towards the buzzing sound as I got closer and the sound got louder I realized it was coming from my father's room. I put my ear on the door to listen closely and I heard moaning? more precisely Aria moaning. I listened closer and I heard something that confirmed Alex's words
"oh fuckk Analise!" aria moaned out
"Holy. Shit." I whisper as I quickly get back to my room and I face time Alex
"Come on, come on. Pick up" after the third ring she answers
"What's up Ana? " She asks
"You were right"
