It has been a couple of years since the last time I saw a dinosaur.

Owen and I started building a cabin when Claire comes.

Claire, I say happily.

I get down and hug her.

Avery, she says happily and hugs me back.

Still building the cabin I see, she says to Owen.

Owen and Claire broke up after a small fight and I haven't seen her in a while well, in person at least, we text every once in a while.

Owen, can I buy you a beer, Claire asks.

Do you have it or are we going somewhere, Owen says.

Your smart you know he can never say no to beer, I say to her smiling.

She puts her arm around me.

You've grown, how old are you now, she asks me.

14, almost 15 in a couple of months, I say to her.

I need to visit you more, we rarely spend any time together anymore, she says smiling.

I would like that, I say to her.

Even though Claire and I were never that close she would let me visit the lab where the dinosaurs were made on the island, and would let me feed them whenever she wasn't really busy which was rare but it still happened.

Claire is more of a mother figure to me but she acts like an older sister more than a mom, it was nice having her around when I needed someone other than my uncle to talk to.

If I ever needed her and she had a meeting, she would reschedule it and talk with me.

It was really nice having her around on the island.

We got to the bar and they had some drinks and Claire bought me a Root Beer knowing that's my favorite and gave me a dollar so I can play Galaga.

I played it a bit and then went back to the booth.

Avery did I leave him or did he leave me, Claire asks me.

You left him, I say to her.

Exactly, even she knows that, Claire says to him.

You're turning her against me now, Owen says to her smirking.

I was always secretly on her side, I say to him.

She high fives me.

Wow, I'm hurt, he says pretending he is.

She side hugs me.

So then she tells us about what's happening with the island due to recent events with the volcano and how the jury ruled that nature should continue its course and let the dinosaurs die.

So that's it, dinosaurs are just going to die, I say to her sadly.

No, I won't let that happen, she says to me.

Then what's the plan, Owen says.

She looks at him.

No, he says.

No, what, I ask him.

She's asking me to join her on the trip to the island, he says.

I'll come, I say to her.

No, you're not going it's way too dangerous, Owen says.

So was Jurassic World but we all know how that turned out, I say to them.

She can come, I mean you are her guardian, Claire says.

True, but we're not going, he says.

Blue is out there, Claire says.

I look at him.

Come on, I say to him pleading.

No, he says.

I'll convince him, I say to her smiling.

Thanks, she says and then leaves.

I do eventually get him to come and so we decided to surprise her on the plane.

I have my backpack full of necessities.

I hear this guy complaining about every little thing.

Oh my gosh shut up it's not that bad, I say sitting up.

Claire smiles and I hug her and sit next to her.

So we finally get on the god forsaken island.

We get help with getting all the dinosaurs off the island.

Owen went to help get Blue and I'm with Franklin and Claire.

We get locked in and I try and I get my gun out to protect them and realize there's a dinosaur in here with us.

Hurry get up here, I say pulling a ladder down.

Franklin gets a chair and I get there first and help Claire up.

We close the door on the dinosaur and see lava and then I see my Uncle Owen.

I run up and hug him.

Thank god your ok, we need to leave, now, Owen says.

We quickly run and Franklin and Claire, because I'm a good runner get into the Gyrosphere.

They get launched into the ocean while Owen and I jump.

I quickly get my knife out to stab a hole into the gyrosphere and keep punching through the glass of course getting my hand cut but it's worth it.

Owen and I help them get to shore.

We get on shore and Claire checks my hand as Owen lectures me on not doing that again.

I understand and hug Claire as she wraps with a part of her jacket.

We see a helicopter that is transporting the T-Rex and notice how they backstabbed us.

We quickly realize we need to get on the boat and start running.

I make it and so does Claire but Franklin barely makes it and so do we on the boat.

We investigate and find Blue.

I help Zia with the surgery.

Your good kid, she says.

I was raised with dinosaurs so yeah I'm pretty good, I say to her.

So we make it to the place and I grab Claire's hand and she puts her arm around me and Owen is in front of us with his arm out as we look around.

Then we get captured.

Let us go, I say trying to get the key.

Stop struggling, your making it worse, the Eli dude says.

Says the one trying to kill us, Claire says.

Well its your fault that your in this mess, trying to save the dinosaurs, it was your call, Eli says.

Saving the dinosaurs from their iminite death that is animal abuse if we let them die, I say.

Well, your going to die trying, he says.

I pace back and forth.
