T'was just another attack on the manor. Again. I do hope Ciel is safe . It seems as if this time the assailants have come under the cover of night .The sun was already below the clouds and the sky was churning from a mauve to an indigo. The first stars were already starting to reveal themselves.

I rush up a rickety wooden ladder to the manor rooftop and pick up one of the many rifles that lie on the ledge.  All of them were loaded. I made sure to reload them after the last attack. I wouldn't want to make the mistake of picking up a rifle with no ammunition. I take off my glasses and set them down on the concrete. If  I'm no good at being a maid I know what I am good for. I crouch down and peer over the ledge to make sure everyone is in position before I shoot to signal the attack.   I could see the intruders spilling out of the dense forest surrounding the manor. An assorted few had firearms while the rest either had knives or nothing at all, at least nothing visible .  Well I know who I'll have to take down first. I take my rifle and aim right for the head of a younger man near the front of the mob of attackers. His pistol would be a nuisance for the others to deal with.  A loud boom resonated throughout the property as he fell face flat with a thump. I do hope everyone heard. The attackers, once in a hurry to get into the manor were now in a frenzy looking for where the bullet came from. I shoot once more. This time I aim for an older man still maneuvering through the edge of the forest. With a pull of my trigger he was on the ground. This time, however, he didn't go without letting out a piercing scream.

"If you value your life I would suggest turning back now or you might end up like your friend there." his voice seemed to echo throughout the area.  Sebastian.

As if on cue a man started to foam out the mouth and heel over, the work of  Snake.  In the corner of my eye I could see a tree being uprooted. Silverware went flying. The loud booms of explosives could be felt. I guess I should get to work as well then.  I pick up an additional rifle and start my aerial assault on the attackers.  I won't let a single one escape, especially not after they had the gall to even come here.

It took 30 minutes to get rid of them all. The courtyard is littered with bodies and blood.  I can finally get up after crouching for so long. I toss the current rifles in my hand, for they were low on bullets and picked up another.  From what I could see there weren't any more intruders, but I always have to double check by going into the denser areas of the forest. Some intruders occasionally storm the manor in waves in order to catch us off guard.  It's so creepy though and it's getting late. Should I ask someone to accompany me?  I slide down the ladder, rifle in one hand, my other on the rungs. It shuddered and groaned as I jumped off and hit the ground with a thud. Its a bloodbath out here. I tried my best to maneuver around the masses of the dead, though seemingly impossible. My boots were covered in splatters of blood as I paced into the forest.

"Mey-Rin!" I turned around swiftly and saw Finny waving at me while balancing a tower of bodies on the other hand.  I waved back.As I get ready to ask for him to accompany me Sebastian appeared behind him out of nowhere and gave me the most frightening glare. I'll just go alone then. I turned right back around and headed towards the forest.  I break out into a run, going deeper and deeper into the forest. It was relatively quiet. The glow of the moon illuminated the beaten path ahead of me.  Just a bit father before turning back. It's getting quite late to be outside alone like this. I trekked on just a bit longer before stopping dead in my tracks. I could hear the grinding of machinery.  So there are more here.  I gripped my rifle tighter than before and followed the noise whilst concealing myself behind the trees.  As I got closer I could finally see the women from a distance. She had piercing green eyes framed with red glasses and vibrant waist-length scarlet red hair with a coat to match. She was beautiful, but definitely deadly, weidling a bright red chainsaw. I hold in a gasp as I feel my heart beating rapidly, in awe or fear I wasn't too sure, and slink behind a large tree, waiting for the right moment to shoot. She looked disdainfully at something above her before looking dead at me. Shit. I pull the trigger, twice for good measure, and wait for the sound of the body hitting the ground. Five second become ten, ten become twenty, no noise. I move from behind the tree and rush towards the spot where her body should be. Nothing. Am I seeing things? Maybe it's just a lack of sleep? Is it my vision? I am sure she was far enough that I could see her clearly or maybe... I drop the rifle and rummage my pockets for my glasses. I left them on the roof. I let out an exasperated sigh, picked up the rifle, and started sprinting back to the manor. If I took too long, especially after firing shots. they would send someone looking for me. The last thing I would want is for anyone to worry.
