~Y/n's POV~

Not gonna lie, you were pretty nervous about this interview. You sat backstage waiting for the crew to call you in.

A little background about you, you're 20 years old, tall, handsome and pretty. You were currently one of the worlds top models and needless to say one of the top non-binary models. You grew up with a difficult and traumatic background and even harder childhood. You're a very private person and you generally prefer staying at home to talking to people. You're known for never doing interviews because they make you so anxious but your agency pushed you to do this one. It was an interview on Ellen DeGeneres, they're known to be a pretty fun and chill show, regardless you were still nervous.

Modeling was easy. It was just you in the zone, trying to feel good and trying to make what you're wearing look good. But damn why do models have to be interviewed!? Ugh. I hate this. I hate the questions. You thought to yourself.

You were wearing clothes from off-whites newest line as you were their top model. You were interrupted from your thoughts when a crew member said "y/n it's time to go"

"Alright thanks man" you replied and got ready to walk in.

You heard Ellen's intro about you and when she announced your name you started walking in, faking a smile.

The audience went crazy when you walked in, you were uncomfortable inside but you pushed it aside and took the time to look at the live audience, wave and smile at them.
"Y/n it's so great to have you here!" Ellen began as you sat down.

"It's so great to be here. Thank you so much for having me." You said.

"So you just came back from Paris Fashion Week. How was it? Are you still jet lagged?" Ellen asked you.

"It was amazing. I modeled for Virgil and his line was so dope this year. We put so much effort into making it new and authentic and he comes up with amazing things every single time I swear, it's so cool to see his creative process." You replied.

"You had designed some things for off-white as well right?" Ellen questioned.

"Oh yeah, Virgil really liked some of my ideas and incorporated them into some of the fits. I also helped a bit with the stage setting. I was really grateful to be given a chance like that. I mean I'm just a model and he took my ideas so that was really cool." You said praying to God that you didn't sound stupid.

"Wow. Well, now onto the juicy stuff.." Ellen said.

Oh God. What is she gonna ask me? Please don't ask anything that'll piss me off. I thought to myself trying to keep my ADHD under control.

"So, Olivia recently admitted her crush on you in an Instagram live. What do you think about that?"
As soon as Ellen said those words the audience went nuts.

"W-wait..what??" You asked. Genuinely confused. You haven't checked Instagram in forever as you're someone who hates to text and you were so busy with PFW.

Ellen let out a chuckle, "Olivia Rodrigo said she had a crush on you on an ig live, apparently she was drunk."

"Woahh woaahh hold on!" You said. "You're playing a prank on me aren't you !!??" You said pointing at Ellen. The audience erupted in laughter and so did Ellen. "Yeah I'm sure you've got a dude around to jump out and scare me!" You said while frantically looking around. Then you set your eyes on the box thingy next to the couch. "He's in there." You said with a serious expression.

"What! No. We're not playing a prank on you and we're not gonna scare you!" Ellen said while trying to hold back her laughter. "I see someone has not checked their phone in a while. Well we got a clip of it that we can play"

You narrowed your eyes at Ellen. Still unable to believe that Olivia would even post any attention to you. You're both the same age so when she made her debut you were also 18. You loved her music so much and shortly fell for her. You weren't a celebrity back then but to this day you were still in love with her. There's no way on Earth Olivia fucking Rodrigo likes you.

Ellen's crew started playing the clip on the screen and you watched.

Olivia was in some dark room but her face was still visible. The phone wasn't held properly and kept shaking back and forth. Your heart almost burst upon seeing her. "H-hey party purple." Olivia slurred, clearly drunk. It seemed like she rambled about some other stuff cause the clip fast forwarded to where she mentioned you.

"Omygawd you guys. Have y'all seen y/n?? Like have y'all seen them??!!! THEYRE SO FUCKING GORGEOUS LIKE ARE THEU EVEN REAL?"

"Ughhhhuhh." She whined. "I have a crush on y/n!" She whine-yelled. "Stfu and date me already! Come and step on my face I don't care!" Olivia said.

The clip ended and your jaw dropped. The audience went nuts at your reaction.

"I can't believe it." You muttered to yourself.

~Time skip~

You were in the comfort of your home surrounded by some of your friends. Jaden Smith, Amandla Stenberg etc. you were guys were chilling eating snacks while jadens new music played in the background.
Your phone has been blowing up all day from notifications that you've been ignoring. Your interview was trending on Twitter and it's all that anyone could talk about. You were just about to turn your phone off when a message notification from Instagram came.

"Hey.. so.. how embarrassing was that live huh? 😂"

You froze. It was from @Olivia Rodrigo
