When Tom woke up, he felt warm. The air was crisp and clean, devoid of the liquor and cigarette musk of his home. His eyes fluttered open and he let his head roll to the side. The man from yesterday sat in the chair by his bedside, watching him with a seemingly indifferent gaze.
"You woke up," he says, sounding slightly surprised. "Good. Now, we can get down to business. Long story short, I'm going to kill you."
"What?" Tom asks, shrinking into the silken sheets of the enormous bed. "W-why?"
"Well, I mean I should kill you. It's what my mother says I should do," he explained calmly. "Lucky for you, I think you're neat."
"S-s-so you-you're not going t-to k-k-kill me?"
"Not yet," he chirped, malicious grin taking over his face. "Now, get up. I'm gonna show you around, puppy."
"Show me around?" Tom asks, tilting his head to the side exactly like a puppy. "Where are we exactly?"
"Avengers Headquarters...no relation."
Tom nods and slips from the bed, legs going weak under him. Mark quickly catches him and holds him up with little effort. Tom can't help but blush. "L-let...let's go," Tom says, ducking his head.
Their first stop is the workout room. "This is where I spend most of my time," Mark says casually. "Not to brag or anything but these big, strong muscles didn't come from nowhere."
Tom nods and admires said muscles, almost losing his breath at the sight.
They make their way through the other various rooms. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, a kitchen with four stoves and an indoor zoo that only contained big cats. Tom was clearly afraid of the ferocious beats but Mark approached them with no hesitation.
"Don't worry. They're harmless so long as you show them who's alpha."
Tom nods. "Too bad I'm an omega then..." He clamps his hands over his mouth, shocked that he admitted that out loud. "Anyways! Can I go home now?" He asks quietly, twirling his hair between his fingers.
"No. You're my property now."
Property?!
