We stay there for a minute, just us females together. I don't know what she's feeling but I feel elated. Elated that she's done it, she's finally pushed him out of her life. I know I didn't go about it in the best way, but her dogs were just too tempting. I'll get my seamstresses to run up a beautiful coat for me tomorrow. Black and white is such a striking combination.
She's stopped sobbing now, as I lead her silently out of the building. I'll send for one of the boys to come and clean up this mess later. They have Rodger to deal with for now. I know she has a lot of questions to ask me and a lot of training that will need to be done on her. She's been far too indoctrinated with Rodger for her to start any work yet. But, I think to myself as we drive along behind the police car they're in, she's just taken a very important first step.
