The cold air nipped at my nose, even my absurd amount of scarfs couldn't help me. I sat on the wide steps of my front door, fumbling with a pack of cigarettes. Once I successfully got one I placed it between my lips. I held my hand to block the cold wind from extinguishing the small flame of the lighter. After a few minutes, I exhaled the last of the smoke and squished the end of the cigarette into the ashtray.

Looking up, I gazed upon the orange sky and how it melted into the pink clouds. I snapped a quick photo, it would be the perfect colour palette for a painting. The small burst of inspiration left me hungry for more. It was getting late but I suppose that there was no harm in going for a short walk. I grabbed my lighter and went on my way, sending a small wave to the gardener.

I was wandering for a few minutes when a small playground came into view. My inner child dominated my thoughts and pulled me towards the park. I moved towards the playground, taking quick pictures of signs or plants for reference.

To my disappointment, there were people already there. A blonde girl was chatting up some freakishly tall guy and a brown-haired girl was standing a little ways away, looking intently at the couple..

I then realized that the freakishly tall guy was Keitaro, I didn't think I'd be seeing him today. The girl grabbed his hand and I saw his body tense. Dammit, why am I always the one that has to save his dumb ass?

I stalked behind him, careful to not make a sound while walking on the rubbery turf. I jumped while putting my hands on his shoulders, using them to give me a small boost to steal his hat.

"Hey, nerd, who's this?" I watched his shoulders droop and his chest soften as if he let go of his breath. He dropped the girl's hand and turned towards me, "Jacque! I didn't know you were hanging around here today."

The girl behind him sighed and turned away. I sent her a small look before Keitaro put his hand on my back and pushed me away. "Here, let's go over here. I'd love for you to model for me with this amazing sunset." He smiled and gestured to his camera.

I hopped up and dropped the hat on his head, "You owe me one Keitaro," I said with a smirk. "Seems like I always do." He laughed, "Thanks for swooping in when you did." My face brightened and my smirk grew bigger.

"No problem, I can't let you go and get a girlfriend. Then I'd have to share you with some bitch." I snorted and bumped his arm. "Me? Getting a girlfriend? Never." He replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "A total charmer like you? I doubt it." I hit his back playfully. He let out a small groan, "I refuse." I rubbed my hands together and laughed. "Alright, loser where do you want me for the pictures?"
