Painting The Dance Floor

Serica college is organising a youth festival this year too, just like any other year. The entire college is busy in preparations. Students can be seen decorating every corner of their college. Giggles and laughter is heard everywhere while the atmosphere is too lovable, friendly and exciting as teachers, trustees, principal everyone is one break from boring duties and are enjoying the fun event that takes place only once a year.

Different events were going to take place. Unlike every year there is a special celebrity visiting the cultural fest this year and hence the excitement is on another level. Thus the practices for all the performances were going on full swing.

Though there were different programs and performances taking place, all the eyes were gazed on music and art department. As the special guest of honour was a renowned Singer and the another celebrity was the most famous painter of the town.

The principal had high expectations from the music teacher Gungun Mam. As per her name, she was cute, delicate and melodious enough to make one stop and listen to her for hours. She trained solo performances as well as group performances.

On the day of the event, the teachers gathered two hours before to make the preparations.
In the staff room, round the table, they were discussing the order of the performances in the event.

The history teacher exclaimed: "Is baar to ap cha jaoge Gungun ji....pura college apki hi bate kar raha hai...."

The Math professor: "Bilkul bilkul.... celebrities ke samne, college ki izzat apke hath me hai😁"

All laughed.

Gungun was on cloud nine hearing all praises.

English teacher, looking at the performance list order: "To ye bat to tai hai... ke shuruat to dhamakedar hi honi chahiye isiliye first performance to singing hi hogi"

"What the hell....." A strong, hard, manly voice roared in the staff room.

There stood Kevin Travasso. The art teacher.
