Tone it Down

"Apollo Come look!" I heard my brother gasp. I groaned, walking across the arcade to see that he had won a stuffed dog.

"That's very nice Toby, is there anything else?" I looked at him, before yawning.

"Yeah, why are you being such a downer? You love the arcade!" He asked. I shrugged. "I didn't get much sleep. Remember, I stayed up till around two in the morning so I could play Minecraft with Lani for her stream".

My older brother was a famous twitch streamer. My younger sister was slowly getting there. I, on the other hand, am no where close. I have about 20 to 30 viewers on my streams, it's why I don't stream to often.

It's probably because no one knows I'm 'Tubbo_'s' younger brother. If they did, I'd probably have almost as much as him.

"How about we play a game together? I bet you I could win this one before you can!" He pointed to a large machine, and one exactly the same beside it.

I giggled. "You're on. How much you willing to lose?"

"Let's go thirty pounds. That fair enough?"

"Sounds fair to me!"

Of course, me being me, won the game in under a minute.

It was your simple game of Pacman, nothing special.

Toby whined in defeat as he reached into his pocket for his wallet. He handed me the money, and I took off running to buy a snack.

I quickly sat down, the stool I had sat on spun.

Beside me, was a tall man with curly brown hair, with a yellow sweater and a maroon beanie.

I felt like I've seen him before, but I can't exactly put my finger on it.

"Apollo! Don't spend all that money on food! We're going shopping after this!" I heard my brother call.

"I'll think about it!" I responded with a chuckle. "Where did Lani run off too? I can get her a drink!" He spun the stool to face him as he walked up.

"Dunno. I don't feel like looking for her though. So you have fun-"

He stared at the man beside me, who was on his phone.

"Toby, mother dearest said it's rude to stare" I crossed my arms, speaking a bit quieter.

"Ah it's fine, she said that about strangers. Wilbur isn't a stranger"

By that point, the man quickly turned to see Toby. He had burst into laughter, turning his stool as well.

"Tubbo! Long time no see!" The man smiled.

He was really pretty, if I do admit.

I looked at the two for a bit, gaze switching from one to the other.

"What are you doing at the arcade?"

"Waiting for Jack and Tommy! What about you?"

Toby walked up to me, putting his arm around my shoulder pulling me close. "Hanging out with my little bro and sis. Dunno where she went though" He said, ruffling my hair.

I mumbled a curse, trying to get away from him.

He snickered, moving a bit so I could fix my now messy hair.

He spoke with the man for awhile. 'Wilbur Soot' is what he called him.

I remember seeing him stream with the man before.

"So, Smaller Tubbo, whats your name? Never got it" Wilbur had asked me.

"Apollo. Nice to meet you, Wilbur" I smiled, before hearing a gasp.
