Background:

As a child Fumiko was loved deeply by both of her parents. But her parents didn't love eachother. Her father and mother often fought and arguments would last hours. Her family lived in a poor and dangerous neighborhood in Japan, so from a young age her father who was a ex-boxer would teach Fumiko everything he knew about fighting. She not only pick it up quickly but soon showed signs of being able to adapt and create advanced fight strategies in the blink of a second. By age 6 was able to win fights against her father. One day after her mom and dad got in a really big fight, her mom grabbed her in and there stuff and took her to the airport. She resisted and and cried the whole time until her father calmed her down and told her it was for the best. She was greatly upset about moving to America but she kept in touch with her dad which made her feel better. She lived there and was mostly accepted by her peers not only for her good looks but also her attitude and ideas. She was stronger, faster, and smarter then most kids so she did great in sports and school. But she was also a trouble makers and often got in fights. Either from protecting someone else or because of her "non backing down" attitude. But one day while driving with her mom from coming back from the beach. They where on a back road almost home when a drunk driver was speeding and slammed into the side of them after almost running of the road, the impact cause the car to flip. Her mother died by sacrificing herself when she jumped and protected Fumiko with her body. Fumiko survived with minor injuries. She broke her right arm and about half the bones in her hand. When she was fully healed she was sent to go live with her father.
