"We'll have the eternity.." little did the boy know, that one of them wouldn't be there for much longer.. "You're right.. we can wait." Daelar said and smiled slightly. "Come, I want to show you something", Liun grabbed the elf's hand and began to lead him to a place he had just discovered. As they soon made their way there, the two stopped and Daelar gazed around in fascination. "It's amazing!!"

"I know.." Liun said with a little smile and took him to sit on a stone that was above water. Two blue butterflies soon started flying around them. "Do you see those butterflies? They're just like us.. very, very beautiful together.. yet so fragile.." Liun smiled slightly and leaned his head on the shoulder of Daelar. "Yeah.. I guess you have a point- they're beautiful.." the elf mumbled silently and nodded with a smile. He started blushing as the human whispered something in his ear. "Just like you.." He chuckled quietly, still blushing. "So are you, my dear.." They shared a kiss in silence as the sun began to set behind the mountains.

"I love you, Liun.." "I love you too, Daelar.." They of course hoped the two races could live and love in peace, but that kind of thought seemed nearly impossible.. as the two boys waved a goodbye to each other in the dark, soon they both already noticed, that there was a part of their hearts that was missing. So much they loved each other, that they couldn't let go even for the night.. Soon they'd have to accept the fact, that they'd need to part for a longer time.. too long.
