"Some history is based on truth and others on deception" Tanis says
"Viktor was not the first of our kind, as you were led to believe" Tanis says as you 4 were standing behind him as he stood infront a book shelf
"He was once human the ruler of these lands" Tanis says
"Marcus..he's the true first Vampire.." you say lowly shocking them as you knew this

In the barn all horses were sucked dry of blood as Marcus was feeding off the last horse as he gained all the blood he needed to appear in his human like skin.

"The source..The first true vampire" Tanis says
"So the legend is true" Selene says crossing her arms
"Toward the end of his ruthless life when the next breath meant more to Viktor then silver or gold Marcus came with an offer a reprieve from sickness and death. Immortality" Tanis says as Johnny hugged you closely
"And in return, Viktor was to use his army-turned-immortal to help him." Tanis says
"To do what?" Selene asks walking closer occasionally glancing at you
"To defeat the very first Werewolves..a dangerous and infectious breed..created by Marcus's own flesh and blood.." Tanis says then looks at you
"His own Twins brother..William" you say shocking them
"But these weren't the Lycans we know. Disgusting though your brethren may be..they at least are evolved" Tanis says
"No, these were raging monsters. Berber able to take human form again" Tanis says grabbing a book from a shelf
"It was only later generations that learned to channel their rage. And Williams appetite for destruction and rampage was insatiable" you say as they looked at you as you just looked at Tanis
"He had to be stopped" Tanis says placing the book back to keep looking
"And so once Viktor's army was turned the legion of vampires under his control tracked down and destroyed the animals." Tanis says grabbing another book and walking back over
"Then captured William and locked him away" Tanis says as you hummed
"Viktor's prisoner for all time" Tanis says trying to open the book
"Why let him live?" Selene asks walking forward
"For the very same reason that Viktor never conspired against Marcus. Fear" you say as they faced you as Tanis nodded
"He was warned that, should Marcus be killed. All those in his bloodline would follow him to the grave" Tanis says as they face you as you were 'turned' by Marcus
"So in Viktor's mind Williams death would mean the end for all Lycans his slaves" Selene says
"Yes" Tanis says
"Yes, a clever deception but one Viktor was hardly willing to put to the test." Tanis says
"And so Marcus was protected at all costs" Tanis says as you nodded
"Father would always tell me when he'd be in battle with some Lycans Viktor would send him away if it got to bad so Father wouldn't die or deathly wounded." You say as they face you
"Yes here it is" Tanis says opening a book
"Vampires?" Michael asks
"Mortals" Tanis says
"Men loyal to Alex Corvinus. The father of us all" You say as you 5 were looking at the book
"What's this?" Selene says putting her gun on a page Tanis tried to pass
"You should know" Tanis says
"It's Williams Prison.." you say lowly as Tanis nods
"The prison your Father was commissioned to build" Tanis says to Selene
"What is it?" You ask Selene as she had a flash back
"What's wrong?" Michael asks
"She now understands why her family was killed" Tanis says
"But that was many years later" Selene says
"The winter of Lucian's escape. Your Father knew too much. Or too much for Viktor to risk especially when Lucian-" you cut Tanis off
"Had the key to Williams cell" you say as Tanis nods holding the necklace
"And I'm the map" Selene says as you hummed
"Yes. The only one still living who has seen it's location" Tanis says smirking a bit
"Oh, Viktor realized you'd be too young to remember explicitly but Marcus knows that the memory and therefore the exact location of Williams prison is hidden away in your blood" Tanis says as a shiver ran down your spine
"Why is Marcus looking for him now? After all this time?" Michael asks confused
"That I cannot answer" Tanis says turning away as Selene loaded her gun
"But I do know someone who could stop him. Perhaps I could arrange a meeting. For exchange for your discretion, of course." Tanis says smirking
"Of course" Selene says slightly amused as you snorted a bit

You 4 were back in the car driving towards the small town as Johnny held you on his lap as you napped.

Meanwhile Tanis was carrying the dead bodies of his recent hookups down to where his Lycan bodyguards were. He looked up as he heard a crash as it was very loud alerting someone was there. Tanis stood up and quickly tried to run and lock himself in his room only for the doors to bust open showing Marcus as Tanis ran.

"Tanis. You seem Anxious. Why do you flee the very sight of me?" Marcus asks the scared man
"Please..sit" Marcus says sitting at the table in a chair
"There's no need for this to be unpleasant. I've always rather enjoyed your company" Marcus says as Tanis glanced at the UV weapons as Marcus saw
"Now you're being rude" Marcus says
"Sorry" Tanis says and slowly makes his way to the table and sits down
"Viktor struck 2 keys. What do you know of them?" Marcus asks Tanis
"Keys? I don't know if any keys" Tanis asks stupidly as Marcus just stared before letting his wings come out and stick Tanis bringing the Vampire closer to him
"Oh, yes. Yes, those keys." Tanis says scared now
"Yes" Marcus says knowingly as he knew Tanis was hiding something from him and wasn't doing so well
