POV: Kaito got scared of thunder and accidentally slipped cause of it, what will Maki do?

No one's POV:
It was a nice day when Kaito and Maki was on a date, how Kaito liked to call it, they were having a lot of fun until it started to rain, they rushed to hope's peak trying to cover themselves with Kaito's jacket, still they got pretty wet, once they got to Kaito's dorm Maki said with anger in her voice: "shit, now I am all wet" she began to change into dry clothes "chill Maki-roll, we are going to take a shower later and everything is going to be just fine!" Kaito says changing as well, Maki smiled at his positivism
Once they got to Kaito's room they sat on the bed and that's when the thunder was heard...Kaito got scared right away, he hated thunder! Why do thunder even exist anyway? Why do we need a lightning thingy that makes scary sounds and burns everything it sees, he thought, he started to shake and Maki knew that Kaito is slipping right now so she laid Kaito's head on her chest "shhh..it's okay my little star, it can't hurt you"
Another bang of thunder 'that Damn thunder' Maki thought angrily, Kaito clung onto her tightly, "it's okay sunshine, mama will protect you" she says and kisses his head, she then takes a purple paciand puts it in Kaito's mouth, Maki got a bit uncomfortable and put him on her hip he's head still on her chest, she bounces him a bit "there there hun"
Kaito started to cry softly as another bang was heard "no no no don't cry baby" Maki says and wipes his tears "everything is going to be okay, Mama will protect you" she kisses Kaito's nose as he giggled "aw, aren't you just the cutest"
"wait here baby, mama will get Moony and will be right back" Maki says, who is Moony you'll ask? She is Kaito's blanket that he deeply loves, she is one of his comfort items, when Maki was about to open the door to living room she felt strong arms hugging her from the back, it was Kaito of course "baby, mama will be right back I promise" Maki says "I go wif you.. nu wanna be alone" Kaito says as Maki awed "okay then dear, let's go" she takes Kaito's hand as they got to the living room and sit on the couch, Maki covered Kaito and herself with the blanket and decided to turn on monsters inc, remembering that Kaito is scared of monsters and especially ghosts she didn't want to make him feel worse so she turned on Mulan, Kaito loved Mulan, he said that she reminds him of Maki, Maki finds that sweet, she raised the volume to the maximum for Kaito not to hear the thunder
At the end of the movie they both were asleep on the couch cuddling each other
They haven't got a shower
