His eyes shot open instantly at the unfamiliar feeling around him, it was of warmth and comfort, much different to the cold and panic of... what was it again? What happened? Oh right... that mad titan is what happened. Thanos attacked their ship, the result of which lead to Heimdal being stabbed through the heart and-

Thor! Thor's still alive, he could still be helped! He sat up instantly, noticing the other people near him, one of which heard the scuffle of him sitting up. A smile spread across the face looking at him, and his abnormally orange eyes were sparkling brightly.

"Hello, Loki. Finally awake, I see." Heimdal said.

"What do you mean?" Loki said "Where are we, where's Thor!?"

"Welcome to Valhalla. Thor lived the attack of Thanos, he is okay." Heimdal explained.

"What- wait- Valhalla!? But... I shouldn't be here... I've killed people!" Loki exclaimed, taking note of the glowing, golden halos and lush white wings everyone near him had. He checked if he had wings himself. He did! But... why? He should be in hell, he's killed many people...

"Well, it seems that Odin thinks so too. You bear a halo and wings, but you also bear horns and a tail, look." Heimdal said, pointing to a mirror near them.

Loki hurried towards the mirror Heimdal pointed to. He indeed bore a halo, but it wasn't gold. It was a venomous, pale green, as well as his wings. His halo was intwined around two large, black horns, resembling those of the ones on his helmet. As he looked, a long, black, pointed tail swished behind him.

"He's right about the 'shouldn't be here' thing, honestly it's absurd." One of the people in the room said.

"Maybe send him to another realm, why Valhalla? He doesn't belong here." Another said

Suddenly everyone except Heimdal was talking about how it was 'absurd that someone like him is here', which overwhelmed Loki very quickly. Usually this sort of pressure in a quick amount of time culminated in either a panic attack, or a strong desire to stab someone, so he decided to hurry out of wherever he was quickly.

Once he ran down the corridor and far away from the room, he allowed himself to slow to a walking pace. So he was dead. This was Valhalla. He wondered how many people he knew would be here, like his mother, or the warriors three. Even as he thought of it, the warriors three would also think he shouldn't be here, and surely nobody would let him near his mother, when she was the ruler's wife, and Loki was... well, different.

He managed to find a small room labeled 'Library'. Books, he thought, they have books. This was a merciful relief. He didn't care what other people thought now, he didn't need to focus on the real world, he could lose himself in the world of fiction.

A few days had passed, in which Loki would sit and read in the library, or occasionally look at the garden, but only at late hours, for nobody else was there when it was late. This particular day found Loki sitting in a corner of the library and reading a rather enticing fiction book.

Loki had learnt that there were two libraries, this being the smaller one. Nobody really was ever in here, but those who were quickly spread a name for the smaller library Loki was in. 'The Devil's Library', they called it, or 'The Freak's Library', the result of which nobody went in there after a week or so. Loki didn't mind in the slightest, in fact, he was quite glad nobody came in here. Until this particular day...

Someone did.

And not just one person, three people entered the library. Soon, a jarringly familiar voice drifted in through the doorway in which they entered.
