Y/n walked into Dope Sketch to be greeted with an unexpected hug from Reki.
"Hey, Y/n! How was your break?" Reki asked
"It was pretty chill. I got to catch up on some sleep so that was nice." Y/n answered while setting down her school bag "Thanks for that by the way"
"No problem, as the new manager I have to make sure my workers are always at their best" Reki grinned "We're not that busy today so I should be able to handle everything by myself, feel free to leave. Or hang around the shop, whatever you want."
Y/n thought about leaving early but remembered that some new boards were arriving at the shop and she really wanted to check them out.
"I think I'll hang around the store," Y/n said, "also do we have any popsicles in the back?"
"Um, we should have a few left" Reki replied "That is unless Langa ate them all..."
Y/n walked to the back room and opened up the freezer. After some examination she had concluded that Langa had eaten them all.

The bells above Dope Sketch's glass doors rang as they alerted the workers someone had entered the shop. A tall boy with dark brown hair and emerald green eyes walked through the door. He seemed to be around 5'6 and was wearing a striped orange and purple hoodie paired with black jeans.
"Onii-chan~," the boy said while walking closer to the redhead.
"eh?" Reki said, lifting his head from the box he was unpacking. He stared at the boy examining every detail of his face before widening his eyes in amazement.
The boy shot a warm smile at Reki
"M-MIYA?!?" Reki shouted quickly rising to his feet

"Hmm? I've never seen him around here. Reki seems to recognize him...maybe it's an old friend? Nah that boy's too young to be friends with Reki. Is he though? He kinda looks around my age-"
Y/n's trail of thought had been lost when she heard the boy say,
"Uh, can you stop staring? It's freaking me out." there was a sour tone in the boy's voice "fucking weirdo.."
Even though the boy had said the last part in a whisper Y/n still heard it.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY THAT HUH?" Y/n had jumped off the counter and marched up to the boy "POST UP BITCH!"
"get out of my face." the boy said in a stern voice
Y/n hadn't noticed how close she'd gotten to the boy and leaped back when she processed how close they were.
"OKAYY, that's enough talking for you both" Reki said while moving to stand between the pair "Y/n this is Miya Chinen, and Miya this is Y/n L/n. If I'm correct you both are the same age."
