𝗠𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹

      Rosalind woke up on a bed inside a bedroom she didn't remember, flashbacks of Last night raced into her mind faster then fire, Last night she felt sleepy so elijah offered her the guest room.

She slightly got up, only to be met by the sight of a beautiful wrapped box beside her feet, taking in in her hands shaking it ever so slightly.

Slowly unwrapping the box , she saw a jewellery box. To say the least she was shocked, she opened the jewellery box up, making her even more shocked.

It was a necklace with a golden snake wrapped around it.

She smiled brightly, tracing her finger around the snake, she noticed a note

Dear Angel

Just wanted to give you your birthday
Gift, if your as old as you say you are
Then you would know its ancient.

From Kol

She read, making her smile even wider, and that shocked her, she was supposed to hate him, be his enemy, his opposite, his world biggest hater. But she couldn't deny the butterflies she gets around him.

Rosalind gets off of her bed, feet making contact with the cold marble ground that sent shivers down her spine. She sighs, noticing clothes on the bed from Rebekah. She takes the necklace as she makes her way to the bathroom, met by her wearing Elijahs shirt that he had kindly given to her.

She slips off the clothing and sets everything on the counter. Rosalind opens the bathroom shower then steps in.

When she steps out of the shower, she got dressed into the clothes Rebekah had left her and slipped on the necklace, it looked pretty around her neck and she grinned to herself before turning and walking out the room, hands touching the head of the snake.

Making her way to the halls, she sees Jophiel walking out of Rebekahs room, hair wet with a towel around his hips. Rebekah followed with a towel around her and Rosalind stops in her steps, blinking as the two looked at her.

"Er," Rebekah looks awkwardly between the two. "We're just going to leave..."

Jophiel smirks as Rebekah pulls her towards his room. "Your friends are absolutely brilliant, Rosie!" He calls out as the door closes.

Rosalind grimaces before walking down the stairs only to be met with Kol on his phone. Sensing her presence, he looks up, eyes immediately noticing the necklace making him smirk.

"Thank you." Rosalind starts and he raises a brow. "The necklace is beautiful."

Kol stands up. "Rebekah made me. Don't flatter yourself." He walks towards her.

"You're lying."

He only cocks his head to the side. "I'm sure you've seen better in your billions years of living." He states, walking away.

"It doesn't make me any less thankful." She calls out as he leaves. Shaking her head, she walks out the house.

Rosalind sat at a table in the Mystic Grill when she felt a tap on her shoulder, turning to see Elena, Caroline and  two handsome men"Hey, it's nice seeing you again."

Elena and the three take a seat. "Yeah, you too. This is my boyfriend, Stefan and his brother, Damon." Caroline says.

"Also my boyfriend." Elena adds.

Brothers dating two best friends.

"Nice to meet you." Rosalind could tell Stefan is more polite and cooperative than Damon.

"So...you were hanging out with Rebekah..?" Caroline asks and Rosalind nods. "Did she hurt you or..is she holding you hostag—"

"Caroline." Elena interrupts with a scolding tone.

Damon looks at her. "Blonde bombshell must've compelled her."

"Damon." Now Stefan scolds him, thinking Rosalind doesn't know about vampires. "Sorry about that."

Rosalind purses her lips. "No she doesn't, we're good friends."

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder again, someone slipping in the seat next to her with a taunting smirk. "I see you've met my angel." He states but they all saw it as a nickname.

Rosalind merely rolls her eyes. "Yeah, um, Kol and I have some business to attend to." She stands up and so does he.

Kol smirks as Rosalind walks away. He turns back to the four, winking at them suggestively as he follows Rosalind out, putting a arm around her waist.

When they make it out, she smacks his hand away and looks at him. "Whats your problem?"

"They've tried to kill my family and i. I suggest you not talk to them, they'll take advantage of what you are."

Rosalind notices how close he stood but in the next second, he was gone.
