✿ Back story ✿

My name is lexi Southgate the daughter of Gareth Southgate the manager of the England football team and I'm here to tell you my story but here's my past...

My mum and dad split up when I was 7 so it was hard growing up and seeing all my friends with a dad, but I did get to go see my dad every weekend but it just never felt the same. I remember every time I would go see my dad he would take me to a football game or he would take me to go see his team train.

When I turned 14 my mum and dad had this really big argument because of my attendance at school ; it was always because I was playing football. After they had the argument I didn't get to see my dad for 6 months, it was really hard. Then when I got to see my dad after those 6 months he told me he was getting married... to an other woman. I was happy for him but at the same time I didn't want a step mum but then I got to know her really well she became like a second mum to me.

Then my mum got sick, doctors didn't know what to do or how to help her. So when I turned 16 my mum passed away, I went to go live with my aunt because my aunt lived down the road from where I used to live with my mum and it was close to my school and my friends, my dad understood it and was happy I wanted to stay there to be with my friends because he knows that it's hard for me to make friends. I still got to see my dad every weekend, until I turned 17...

It started to because a monthly thing where I would got for one weekend a month. he was always busy with managing the England football team and never really had time for me. After I turned 18 I started to not see him again until a year after for my 19th birthday. And I still haven't seen him.

Until today, today is the day when I finally get to see my dad after forever and I do really hope he's happy to see me.
