"BEEP-BEEP-BEEP"
The sound rung at the same time, different locations.
Nurses and doctors rushed into a vast room, it was almost like a luxury hotel room. You could almost fool someone that it was a 5-star hotel room, if only the big white ECG machines and several other medical equipment weren't decorated around the room."Keep a monitor on the ECG and administer..."
"1...2...3..."The defibrillator worked up and down on her chest as the doctors and nurses tried to suppress the rising dire nature of the situation.
...
A groan escaped the teen's mouth.
"What the hell." He had forgotten to turn off his alarm for the weekend.
It was too bad anyways, he couldn't go back to sleep once he had woken up. He walked outside his dorm building, onto the U.A.'s ground.
Hands in pocket, phone in either slots, he was walking around the city early in the morning. Nothing disturbed the still air, as everyone, and everything, as it seems, were asleep. Although it would be suited to his nature if he were to make an explosion and wake everyone up, he surprisingly likes to walk in the early morning when nothing would disturb him so that he could bask in the only presence in the moment, himself.
He was about to head home after walking around aimlessly when he saw a girl around his age roaming the streets. He wouldn't normally care, but something incentivized him to want to question...maybe bother...more like provoke the girl.
Maybe because she was wearing hospital clothes, semi-covered by her oversized cardigan, or maybe she was the only person out on the streets...
wait, why is she out on the streets if she's from a hospital? is that even allowed?!
"Hey No-face."
(reference to an anime ^^)Her eyes averted from the sky and the trees to the spiky blonde haired in front of her.
"hm?" she had a calm demeanor to her voice.
But this somewhat ticked the blonde off. Probably because she didn't get offended or had any reactions."You look like a ghost. Why are you outside. Aren't you supposed to be like in the fucking hospital"
"I guess I should be in the hospital. But I wanted to see the city ...and the flowers...and the sky. Are you out to see them too?" she crouched next to a row of planted flowers, paying no eye contact to the ticking time bomb.
"Why would anyone watch that shit. it's worthless." he exploded the row of flowers she was looking at, with a smirk, expecting her to yell at him.
With no reaction shown in her face, she touched the stems left of the flowers and they immediately regrew their petals and flourished again. The blonde was surprised by her, he assumed, quirk, but he still wasn't satisfied with her reaction, rather ticked off by it, and again, he blew up her new flowers. And once again, she restored them.
"they're pretty."
"Yeah, shit. They're nothing, what are you? One of those crazy 'i love nature' people? are you from the psychiatry ward or something?!"
She finally stood up from her flower-gazing position, but still didn't look in the direction of the blonde.
Suddenly, it felt like time stopped. All the plants, flowers, trees started withering, and the boy next to her started suffocating for oxygen. A confused, angry look on his face. An unreadable one on hers.
"You wouldn't want humanity to die right? I wouldn't want that. Humans are like flowers and plants. They're beautiful, but all beautiful things die."
she again crouched down to the once alive flower and everything resumed to normal again, with everything being restored and the boy next to her starting to breathe again.
The boy was definitely in shock,
That was definitely not her quirk...and she's definitely not sane.
"who the fuck are you?"
