It all began in 3rd when I met her. Her name was victoria. I had deep regard for her by this I mean, I loved her. Of course I wanted to start slow so I became friends with her. one day I thought I had the guts to ask her out but then she said she had a crush on Doug nickelson. Then my heart stopped from then on I could never confess my love for her.
We stayed friends throughout middle school. the best thing happened in 7th grade Doug nickelson left and moved to Alaska. Then I got my courage back I was dreaming about the day when we held hands and skipped off into the sunlight. Now that Doug nickelson was out of the picture I walked up to victoria and said,"Victoria I love you." I saw the look on her face and she just looked so puzzled. Throughout the day I was so sad I heard people talking about how dull I looked and people asked me what's wrong but I could not proclaim what was wrong because my brain was filled with sorrow.
I went home so depressed I didn't even eat dinner later that night I received a phone call from victoria I almost didn't answer it but I just had to. I answered it and Victoria said, " izabella I put thought into it and I realized I also love you.
The next day at school was pretty Awkward. We avoided each other that whole day. I only talked to her during lunch.
"Hey. Since we are avoiding each other at school, maybe we can go to a movie together."
Victoria said," sure, I'll see you Friday night then."
From the outside I seemed pretty calm, but inside I was super happy. I counted the days until then.
FRIDAY NIGHT
I met victoria outside the movie theatre around 6:30 pm. She was wearing a beautiful red velvet dress that sparkled. While on the other hand, I was wearing a flannel shirt and some jeans.
"Wow! You are looking really good! Sorry, I didn't know I was suppose to dress all fancy," I said.
"It's ok. You're looking pretty good too," Victoria said.
We went inside the movie and bought a large bag of popcorn and two pumpkin spice lattes from the Starbucks that was inside the movie theatre. We decided on going to see "the nootbook."
DURING THE MOVIE
"Hey can you pass me some popcorn?" I say
"Sure" Victoria says
As I grab for popcorn I don't see victoria grab for it as well and I accidentally grab her hand.
With an embarrassed look I say,"I'm sorry." and I quickly let go of her hand.
"It's ok. I kinda liked it," she says with a smile on her face.
Then my eyes meet with hers and I lean in for a kiss. Next thing I know, I can taste her cherry lipgloss on my lips. I was the happiest girl in the world that night.
AFTER THE MOVIE
After the movie was over, I called in a cab to drive me and Victoria.
"Hey that car is speeding really fast toward us looks like a drunk driver," Victoria says
"Take co-," before I can finish the car hits the cab and the cab does a flip. I immediately blacked out.
AT THE HOSPITAL
I wake up in a hospital bed surrounded by nurses and doctors and on life support. I see Victoria's parents in tears and I ask them what happened.
before they can answer the doctor interrupts and says,"victoriA wasn't fortunate like you and didn't survive the crash. We were barely able I get you out. We had to put you on life support."
I was in shock,"you mea-- you mean she's dead?"
"Yes," the doctor said.
"I don't want to live in a world without her...," I say. I remember the stars and the moon and all the times I had with her. I tell the doctor,"I guess I'll see her in a couple minute," and pull my life support. The breath escapes from my lungs and I can feel my heart stop beating. And in the distance, I see victoria smiling at me.
