𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 7

The three of us were walking through the woods Owen and I in front with Claire following behind us.

"I think we're going in circles don't you guys think we should drop a search grid or something I've seen those kids three times since they were born and two of those were funerals, I never visit, I never call my sisters right I'm an island"  Claire explains to us

"It's messy to have people in your life. It's just Violet and I and that's all I need"

"Yeah but I like other people, well most"

"Humans are overrated" I tell her

"You know I really underestimated you two I've been treating you guys like some Neanderthals there's actually a lot more two you guys " Claire tell us taking off her shoes

"I just get so wrapped up in my personal shi- what are you doing" Claire finally turns to look at Owen

Owen is kneeling down in front of dino dung grabbing some and putting it on his arms while I'm as far as I can be behind him

"I know your used to watching your assets from behind glass but out here were on their turf  you need to cover up the smell of that vanilla scented lotion you put on this morning" Owen explains

"I-I don't smell like vanilla"

Owen stands up and takes a breathe "Will you consider for a minute that I might actually know something a little more than you do" ending the sentence as he stands right in front of Claire while I stand back watching the scene

Claire looks at him disgusted  while owen kneels downs and looks up to Claire smirking " you ready"

Claire jumps back "no, no I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself" Claire walks to the dino dug and grabs two handfuls and drags it up her legs to her thighs and her arms while Owen just stares at her and I cover my mouth trying not to throw up. I walking over to Owen standing next to him while Claire turns to us

"Did I miss a spot?" Claire asks us

"Yeah just get that area." Owen tells her circle his chest

Claire looks at him annoyed and slaps her hand on her chest and drags it up to her neck and chin. Owen tries to stop her but quickly gives up. When Claire is done Owen and I lightly laugh and Claire looks at us confused.

"What"

"Uh oh god, no I mean you didn't have to get it on your face which is okay." Owen explains

"Did that get in your mouth?" I asked her

Claire didn't answer and walked forward when Owen offered her a handkerchief she grabbed it and walked in front of us

"I'm just saying you overdid it is all" Owen tries to tell her

Owen looks at me "your turn"

"I'd rather get eaten and besides Claire put enough to cover both our scents"

Later the three of us are still walking in the forest trying to be as quiet as possible. Owen is holding his sniper while I'm carrying a 45 that Owen gave me. All of a sudden in the distance we heard a car we headed to that sound and saw an old garage with an empty space. Owen walks over and picks up a grey jacket.

"Is this one of theirs" Owen asked Claire

Claire nodded with a smile on her face I was looking at one of the old jeeps when Owen walked toward me setting is sniper down at the side of the jeep and started to look inside looking inside the car

"How did they even get one of these started" Owen asked

"They're better mechanics than you are"

Claire let out a light laugh while Owen glanced at me muttering something under his breath and walking over the shelves only to turn around and unlock the hood of the car and was about to open it before hearing a large thump.

Claire let out a loud gasp as Owen pulled the two of us in back of him the three of us crouch down in front of the jeep my 45 is still in my hand I put the safety off ready to shoot if I have to Owen puts his arm in front of me shaking his and mouthing "No".

I nod and put the safety back on. Owen glances to the side of the car until a large stop of the Indominus rex forces him move back to his original position he puts his arm around me slightly pulling me to him the Indominus rex leans in closer and starts to sniff I push myself as close as I can with Owen mixing my scent with his own. The Indominus rex pushes the jeep up slightly while I bury my head into Owens shoulder trying not to cry. Be strong violet

When the dinosaur finally retreats Owen quickly grabs his sniper, giving me and Claire a nod when we finally think we're safe we were proven wrong the Indominus rex breaks through the roof roaring loudly. The three of us got up quickly and started running, Claire and I ran in front with Owen in back of us almost being run over by the old jeep.

We ran till we got through the open front door. Owen managed to get in front of us holding a hand out for Claire which she ignored leading me to happily grab it. We slid down by a fallen tree while both of my hands are being occupied by Owen and Claire's.

When we heard I buried my head in Owens shoulder once again till we didn't hear it anymore. We got up and continued running in front of us. Claire started to call someone yelling at them to get a squad with real guns this time. Finally

We ran until we saw a glass dome and a helicopter flew above us and started shooting at what I assume is the Indominus rex which doesn't work. The Indominus rex broke through the glass which let out the Pterodactyls.

They attacked the helicopter leading it to fall through the dome and all you can hear is an explosion. All the pterodactyls started to fly through and headed straight for us leading us to run away and drop down on the floor.

"Seriously"

Violet and Zach are definitely  meeting in the next chapter which I am very excited about. I added two deleted scenes just to make this book longer and I haven't seen it in a Zach Mitchell book. If you have any ship name ideas please comment them cause the only idea I have is Zaclet. I love you my loves.
