TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT where Ellie was with Heather closing up the shop. Heather barely ever closed the shop, but when she did Ellie came with her cause she was scared to be alone at night. Which Ellie understood cause they did live in Shadyside. A costumer just left the shop complaining about the book she returned, when the phone rang.
"Hello, This is Bedolton's we're closed" she answered the phone and started taking to someone that Ellie assumed was Ryan Torres, he seem really nice and sweet when Heather described him. Ellie left her current position from putting up books and going up to Heather.
"The phone hung up" she turned to Ellie, "That's weird lights are still on" The brunette responded pointing to the lights.
"Hello, Ryan" she continued saying walking out of the store. Ellie stayed in the store for a second waiting. Then she heard Heather talking so she walked out to meet Ryan.
"Hi I'm Ryan you must be Ellie, Heather's best friend" Ryan said holding out his hand and I shook it almost immediately "Yeah that's me nice to meet you" Ellie continued then turned to Heather "I'm gonna get a smoothie from Sally since she loves me so much meet you back here after closing" Ellie said to Heather leaving her with Ryan.
He seemed nice so Ellie knew she would be okay. Or so she thought, that's when she began her travels to across the mall. She tripped and fell dropping her dollar, looking up to see a person in a black outfit run right past her.
She thought nothing of it at the time, knowing how many creeps worked at the mall. She continued her walk when she stopped at Sally's Smoothie Shop and put her money on the counter before looking up.
"So Sally I was thinking-" she said but cut herself of when she saw Sally's covered in her own blood, eyes rolled back into her head "Holy Shit" she said starting to run.
"Fuck my money" she said turning around to quickly grab her money, "Heather" she whispered and started running to the other side of the mall. She started screaming Heather's name, then stopped when she saw the un masked face of Ryan Torres on top of Heather's almost lifeless body.
Stabbing her repeatedly in the chest as Heather muttered words to him. Ellie's presence was suddenly noticed by Ryan and she started to scream which caught the attention of the Sunnyvale Chief of Police, Nick Goode.
