Chapter 5

I opened my eyes and felt a sharp pain tin my abdomen. “Brett.” I hoarse out seeing my boyfriend running with me in his arms. 

“Stay with me Madi.” Brett said running in with Lori. 

“Take her to Deaton. NOW!” I heard Kira yell at them.

I opened my eyes more and seen Kira running with us to her car. “Kira?” I asked than my eyes started to get blurry.

“Stay with us, Madi.” I head Lori cry holding my hand. 

“Hey Lori. I missed you.” I chocked out feeling blood come out of my mouth.

“Baby, we promised, please stay with me.” Brett choked holding me close to his chest while Kira races to Deaton’s.

“I love you.” I cried feeling a little bit of blood come out of my mouth.

The car stopped and they raced me inside Deaton’s, putting me on the cold table sitting up so my legs were dangling at the end.. I open my eyes wider and looked down seeing an arrow sticking out of my stomach. I look to the side and seen Satomi and her pack look at me with worry.

“Everyone out.” Satomi demanded. Everyone left expect Brett, Lori and Satomi.

“You too, Lori.” Brett said to his little sister making her groan but leave.

“I’ll give you guys a moment together.” Satomi said leaving and shutting the door while she was at it.

Brett looked down at me with worry. “This is going to hurt.” He said holding the arrow. 

I groan when he started to pull it out slowly than screamed when it was fully removed but was shut up by his mouth against mine. I pulled the essence from his mouth moaning  and pulling his wet hair. He groaned, pulling me closer to him so our lower parts were connected.

“There here.” Satomi said interrupting us making us break apart, just in time when Kira and Scott come in.

“we are gonna need help.” Scott said and escorted all of us to and abandoned warehouse that is still under construction. 

Satomi throws her weapon causing the hunter to drop his gun but only to come face to face with Brett growling.

“Wait. Wait. Wait. Brett it’s his place. It’s his.” Scott said and Brett retracted his canines and walked behind Scott.

“Scott…If you bring in guest, you could have called.” Argent said looking at us.

“I didn't have anywhere else to take them.” Scott said.

“I know this man. He may not remember, but we’ve met before.” Satomi said looking at the hunter.

“You can trust him.” Scott said to her.

“No, I mean can she trust him.” Satomi said pointing at me.

All eyes were on me making me feel a little bit uncomfortable so I hid behind Brett his large frame covering my petite one. I stick my head out and nod making Kira and Scott sigh with relief.

Kira and Scott called Derek but Derek brought another girl with a shot gun making me worry a lot. Then Brett started arguing with Scott saying that what if we are not safe what if we die. And Derek starts to say a speech getting confidence in the pack making them give hope that we are going to live even he had me going.

It was night time and guns were being shot everywhere. Red dots at every corner. Brett went to deal with the hunters knocking them out not killing them. I stayed with Lori but suddenly she ran off making me worry and look for her.

“Lori! Madi!” I heard Brett scream for us. I turn the corner and seen the most disgusting thing ever. Scott is scratching this hunter, his face changing into a monster. He was about to kill him but stopped once the shooting stopped.

I grabbed Lori’s hand walked with her to the middle of the warehouse watching the hunters leave. Brett seen us and hugged us making me sigh in relief that he wasn’t hurt.

“Oh. Your both alight.” he said hugging both of us. 

Lori hugs his hip because of how short she was while I lay my head on his shoulder on my toes and whispered, “I love you.”

“I love you, too Madi.” he said in my ear and kissed my neck making me sigh.

We are finally safe, but lost some people on the way.
