Chapter 5: The Walker Excavations

The Walker Excavations is an online browser experience that lets you explore both existing and new locations seen in music videos. This is one of the most important components of World of Walker, is a secondary narrative part of the plot. According to the gameplay part, the game is a puzzle consisting of several levels, which contain both hints for the game, and important information about future events of the plot. The name of the main character, for whom we are given control, is still unknown, but during the first two levels, Walker #28300 contacts him and gives instructions. At the time of writing this article, there are only 4 playable levels (The Exhibition, The Vault, the Cave, the Chamber) in the game and 1 closed to pass (Lab). Levels

The Exhibition

The first level begins with an entry into the Walker Excavations Museum on behalf of #28300. In the beginning, #28300 itself gets in touch with us and tells us to examine everything thoroughly. After disabling the alarm systems, Lily contacts us again and reminds us why you came here. After a thorough inspection of all the exhibits, as well as studying the clues, you will be able to open the hatch under the central statue and go to the next level.

NotesAfter turning on the electricity and turning off the alarm, the computer on the table will turn on with the tab open. The draw was completed the next morning, but the secret is still available.Among the exhibits you can find discs of prophecies from and from Alone Pt. II, a sealed time capsule, an AV-8 drone, a painting "Heading Home", three metal drones, three red cloaks of ancient Walkers and a large monument.The Vault

As soon as we open the hatch, we are immediately sent to the basement (note that this happens irrevocably, you will not be able to go to the last level). The surprised #28300 gets in touch, asks to collect as much information as possible and quickly leave there. This is the secret workshop of Professor Zoran, teacher #28300, who has a whole database of several servers at his disposal, as well as furniture for a comfortable life underground. On the wall hang numerous photographs and notes tied with threads, and as a mechanism for hiding a safe, there is a painting by Pieter Brueghel "The Blind". To open the picture, you need to click on the button that is hidden in the book "Beyond Art". To open the safe, you need a five-digit password, the encoding for decryption is in the trash can near the workbench. In the safe will be a flash drive with encrypted information. The password can be found by listening to the radio near the bed on a certain frequency. After fixing the radio and finding the desired frequency (you need to find the frequency randomly or find information on the computer by finding the password), you need to decrypt the Morse code. The resulting password must be entered into the computer on the upper monitor. We will see several X-ray images of metal drones, as well as a picture of the picture from the main hall under the influence of ultraviolet light, where the map will be drawn. After reviewing the photo, #28300 will contact us for the last time via video link, and will say that when you set the necessary chemical elements, you will be able to read this map in the picture and tell us to wait for it in the Exhibition.

NotesIn the workshop, you can find three different books, whose titles you can at least read: "Chariots of the Gods" (a book about the most famous statement of the paleocontact hypothesis), "The problem of increasing human energy" and "The lost book of Enki".On the workbench near the computer is a disassembled AV-8.All over the room are notes about Red Nexus reports, speculations about where these artifacts might be from, and so on. The third level is an excavation in a cave in Vietnam. Next, #28300 leave us the note on the table and the diaries. She says that she went back to France to visit the Walker Excavations Museum, located in the Chateau de Fontainebleau. To complete the level, you need to collect the puzzle on the mysterious doors and send a ray of sun on these doors, and only then they will open.

The fourth level is the temple where the rite and part of the prophecy from Heading Home took place. #28300 again mysteriously disappears, leaving a few notes with hints. Your task is to open the disabled time capsule.

NotesBefore February 7, 2020, when the time capsule was opened, a video with some footage from the Aviation Movie was shown, this video was an ambiguous announcement of the song Sorry. At February 7, after opening the capsule, another video began showing us the view from the broken AV-8, immediately coming up with #88888 and rebooting it. After that, we listen to a very badly distorted audio message, after which an error from Red Nexus is shown. This video is the announcement of the song Fake A Smile, previously the song was called When I'm In Hell.In the four sarcophagi, we can see several items of the ancient Walkers who left them for storage. Despite the meteor shower, things remained intact.In the walls on both sides, you can see four panels, one open with the word Faded, the others closed. If you shine an ultraviolet flashlight on the walls above the panels, you can see the lines from the songs, each panel has a specific song: Tired, Alone and Ghost. At the time of writing this article, the panels are still closed and cannot be opened.On the floor near the sarcophagus, you can find a magazine with codes for buying Alan Walker's merch: "@lantis" (15% discount) and "th3ch4mb3r" (code is expired).On the floor in front of the exit is a note #28300, where she wrote that she has strange memories and has a feeling that she has already been here. Plot twist: Before entering the Chamber, Lily traveled to France to visit the Walker Excavations Museum, where she received her drone, regained her memories, and even met the ancient Walkers.
