The story is about a girl who travels around the world with her parents at a young age. When she was little (8-9?) she was staying in Alaska for 3 months and met a boy named (idk name requests?). Then when she grows up she meets the boy again and they fall in love. Idk how it will turn out tho.
Also the title is a saying her mom said to her all the time. "Luck is like fireflies in a jar. It lasts a little, then it's gone."
