Ezio sighed as he retracted his hidden blade in and then back out. It had been many years ((as it seemed to be many)) since he had seen you. He was back in Roma, due to the Borgia attack at the villa. He expected you have already found another man and made a family, which caused his bored feelings to flourish with a bit of regret. After a few guards took notice of his location, atop of a roof, he quickly took a leap of faith into a hay pile, which lost them. Of course, he had much to do, igniting Borgia towers, restoring parts of Roma, and taking the life of that damned Cesare, but even assassins themselves had to take breaks.
He jumped out of the hay pile, startling a few citizens, and just shrugged them off. He took notice of Leonardo's pointer finger on one of the benches, and took a seat. Soon afterwards, Leonardo came into sight and sat besides him.
"So, would you like the poison darts?"
Ezio nodded, handing him a slightly bulky pouch of florins.
Noticing Ezio's blank expression, he asked in a low voice, "Is it about that woman? You know where she lives, so why not visit?"
"She may have moved these past years, and I do not have the desire to go anyways."
"Why not?"
"I just don't. Perhaps intuition?"
"Well, you are not going to go anywhere like that, so you might as well give it a shot." Leonardo stood up. "I'll be back. Wait here."
That night, Leonardo returned, handing Ezio the improvement to his hidden-blade, along with extra darts.
Ezio observed the weapon. "Just a small sting and my enemies will fall."
"So, are you going to do it?"
"I'll see."
"You take care of yourself, Ezio." He left, off to work on more inventions.
Ezio took notice of a guard, who was showing off his blade to a herd of courtesans, and lifted his left arm, aiming right at the guard's chest, and then shot the poison darts. At first, the guard was inflicted with a pinch of pain, due to the pointy needles. Then, the poison to effect. The guard started swinging his arms everywhere, unable to control any parts of his body. He had his sword in his hand and looked like a mad man. The prostitutes were frightened by his spasms, and ran off. Finally, the poison spread all throughout his body, killing him.
"Hm. It works." Ezio ruefully grunted, also expressing hints of approval of the new weapon.
Obviously Ezio Auditore wasn't the type to kill without reason, even if they were guards. However, there was one thing that was bugging him. Your location was not truly unknown to him.
