"you ready to find out what we're having?" I asked smiling. "More than you could imagine." "I'm still team boy!" I told Hayes. "Nope, it's a girl. I know it." He said rubbing my belly. Yesterday, I had my ultrasound where I would have found out the sex of the baby. My mom and Michelle came with us, and my mom took the envelope that had the gender in it home with her. Today they're throwing us a gender reveal party, which we were on the way to at the moment.
I'm wearing a blue and pink chevron maxi dress, which you could definitely see my 20 week baby bump in. Hayes is wearing a blue, white, and pink plaid shirt and kakis. I held onto his hand the whole way. I was ready to find out if my baby was a boy or a girl.
When we arrived, the set up was absolutely adorable. There was a boy side and a girl side. half the snacks were blue, and the other we're pink. there was a chalk board outside where you put if you were #teampink or #teamblue.
Hayes and I walked around greeting everyone for a few minutes. Soon after, my mom called us outside to do the reveal.
"McKenna, darling! Come on, let's do the big reveal!" my mom said pulling me and Hayes to the back yard. There was a big box that was decorated in the middle of the yard. My mom told us to stand by it while she got everyone outside. "Okay, everyone ready?" my mom asked. "okay Kenna, Hayes, your going to open this box on the count of three, and blue or pink balloons are going to fly out. Ready. 1,2,3!"
