You were on your way outside the school when you heard two girls gossiping about someone.

"Yes! I never thought Oikawa-senpai would date someone like her."

"Right? There are a lot of better girls out there. And of course, one of them is me." The girl said.

A sudden thought came into your mind.

"What did I do to deserve him anyway? I should probably end things with him..."

"Excuse me, ladies? Are you talking about my girl?"

"We're sorry! We should probably go now." The two girls phrased before walking away.

"C'mon, let's go eat ramen. Don't mind those jealous pigs."

"Hmm? They deserve it anyway. Now let's go."

"I understand. Do you want me to go with you?"

People: you, the character's mom, and the doctor.

"Aki-san?"

"Yes, doc?"

"Sorry, but I have bad news for you."

"W-what is it, doc?"

"Well, you see. It is hard to believe but, we did multiple checks on the result, and it seems like 

your heart is slowly getting weaker."

"So that's why I'm having trouble with breathing most of the time.

"And if a heart failure occurs, you might die. I'm sorry about this, Fujiwara-san, Aki-san."

(In Aki's mind: So that's why It's getting harder for me to move each day, remembering all those times I've almost collapsed.)

"I-it's fine if this is what's meant for me then, I have to accept the fact.

"It would be better if you stay in the hospital for now so that we can monitor your health."

"Mom?"

"It's up to you, sweety."

"Um, no thanks then, doc. Besides, I'm going to die either way, and it will cost so much money."

"Aki... Ok, if that's your decision. We'll talk about this later at home, ok?"

"I will, mom. Thank you for everything, thank you for supporting me with what I want to do, even though dad is gone. You're still here for me. I know I don't say this but, I love you, mom. And I'm thankful for everything that you've done for me throughout these years."

"Aki-chan, *Aki's mom said as her tears fall* I love you too, my daughter. If only that there's a way to cure your heart, I'd do it. But at your health stage, there's none. You also became thinner. Speaking of that, I've bought you a wheelchair because I've noticed your movements. And the doctor said that it would be better if you won't move too much because it will tire your body."

"I understand. I guess I'll tell Haru about this."

"Yes, hun, you should. But for now, I want you to get ready for bed. You need rest. I'll talk to your school principal tomorrow, ok?"

"Mhm"
