"Aki? Why are you in a wheelchair? What happened?"

"Haru, you see I..."

As you explained what happened, Haru still seems to be puzzled.

"W-what do you mean? Is this another prank? H-hey, come on, this is not nice."

"Haru, I'm serious."Hearing those words, Haru couldn't do anything but cry.

"But that's not the reason why I wanted you here."

"What do you mean?"

*A few scenes later*

"Ok, cut! Good work today, everyone. Let's wrap it up!" said the director.

Author's pov:

To make it clear, you and Oikawa work as a celebrity, Actor/Actress.Everyone had packed their things as they were ready to go home. But as you were to go outside the building.

"(Y/N)!! Wow, I never thought that we would work on the same project again." Said one of the actresses.

"Yeah, how are you doing? I heard that you finally got married."

"Yup!"

"Haha, then you won't nag about being single anymore, Jane."

Jane Stewart, she was your best friend in high school. She came in as a foreign exchange student, and it was you to be the first one to make friends with her as you know a lot about speaking English. Both of you wanted to be famous one day. And so, the two of you worked hard for it.

"Well, guess who's single now, (Y/N). By the way, are you comfortable with working with him? He did you pretty bad."

"Not really, but it's not like there's something I can do about it."

You found yourself staring at Oikawa, who was busy talking to one of the staff.

"Hmm, what about Kuroo? You've been friends with him since the start. You rejected him, but he chose to stay friends with you. He is somehow incredible."

"I'm amazed by him too. I've known him for a long time, but he's never gotten into a relationship, not even once!"

"I'm also scared of you, girl. How can you reject someone like him?"

"Oh my God, Jane, I have my reasons back then."

"So it means, now that you are free from that shittykawa, you're finally going to accept Kuroo?"

"Why do you speak like I only shoo Kuroo off? We're still very close until now."

"Do you like him?" Jane asked in a cold tone I've not heard since we last fought.

"I don't know, Jane."

"The dude won't wait till death for you. Without even noticing it, he'd be in a relationship with someone, someone who's not you."

"Jane, Oikawa is not my only reason why I rejected Kuroo. Thinking of the reason still creeps me out. It happened a very long time ago, and we've even talked and cleared things about it. I might be overreacting but, I was so creeped out by him back then."

"What do you mean?" You cut her off.

*Sighs* "It happened a long time ago. I wouldn't want to go back to it now."
"With the way you say it, I don't want to talk about it either. I guess there is a lot that happened when I went back to my home country." *Phone rings*

"Would you look at that? Go on. Your man is probably outside to pick you up."
