Clara Carter

Stefan's face wasn't blessed to my eyes after the night. It's been a week since then, and we haven't even crossed paths like we used to. No glaring. No argument. No Stefan barging into my fights.

I've spent the entire week attending lectures, completing projects, and dealing with other semester-related tasks. Even now, I'm in the library with Tyler, who is assisting me in staying focused on a fat-ass book while he does his work.

I tap my feet incessantly, attempting to focus on the gibberish written in front of me, but my mind wanders to that night. My pulse skips a beat when I recall Stefan's touch on my skin.

His muscular arms holding me, his exquisite eyes staring into mine, and his luscious lips between my thighs, providing me with incredible pleasure. Oh-my.

I bite my lower lip, remembering our incredible sex. But why am I thinking about it so much? He must have simply jumped on the next girl he saw after me. However, putting it this way causes an envious hurt in my chest. I don't want any other girl around him.

"What's the matter?" Tyler's worried voice distracts me from beating the crap out of the girl who dares to touch Stefan.

I have no idea what Stefan wants, but if I see him with another girl, I will lose it.

Tyler releases the book from my grip I'd crumpled out of frustration.

"Nothing," I clear my throat, sliding in my seat to keep my equilibrium. "Just bored."

He nods understandingly and returns his focus to his work. With nothing else to do, I look around for something or someone to annoy.

The library is deafeningly quiet, making me feel like an alien.

A set of familiar hazel eyes catches my interest near a bookcase next to the door exit. Stefan.

I rub my eyes, not trusting my tainted brain, and return my gaze to his illusory image. It is still there.

Damn, he's here.

His eyes sparkle, his lips molded in a wicked smirk. A look that speaks a lot about his intentions.

Seeing him after such a long time brightens my mood.

He motions for me to follow him with his hands. I keep looking as he slowly walks away, unsure whether I should listen to him. But all I needed was one 'You better come' glance.

I quickly get up from my seat, whisper a short, "I'll be back." to Tyler, and proceed in the direction Stefan went.

No one looks at me as I go out of the library since everyone is so engrossed in their books.

When I overhear some girls standing behind a wall, the corridor is not particularly crowded, giving me plenty of room to look around for Stefan's whereabouts.

"You know, there are times when I wish I was Clara. At least, Stefan would have talked to me."

"I know, right? Why does he keep going at her?"

"Oh, come on, you know Stefan isn't interested in her and won't even consider hooking up or dating Clara. She isn't his type."

After that, they burst out laughing like night crickets.

"By the way, I heard that Stefan plans to suspend Clara for months."

"Is this the reason he's usually with her? Anyhow, I hope he does. At the very least, he'll notice some good girls surrounding him rather than messing with that bitch."
