My mind went blank after seeing them there, in front of me. Dylan pulled me aside and tried to bring me out of my trance but I was still struck in my own head, so Amy jumped in and slapped me back to reality, it really hurt like hell.

"WE NEED TO MOVE" she yelled because she saw one of the bodies that was beaten start getting up.

I don't know why I thought of going to my room at that moment but no one objected to the idea so we made our way there with haste. While running we turned a corner and one of them tackled me but I managed to hold him or it back, I don't really what to call them because they appear human but at that moment holding it back and looking right in its eyes, all I could see was pure animal instinct coupled with violent intent. I held him back long enough for Jake to kick him off me and Dylan helped me up and we kept moving. We were finally approaching the entrance to my hostel and we also saw Gregory, who was carrying a lady that was unconscious, Amy Shouted for him and pointed to the hostel and Gregory followed us behind. We finally got to my room and I locked the door behind me, now that we had a moment to rest up as we were tired and Greg put the lady on my bed before sitting down beside her, we also had a chance to gather our thoughts and plan on how we would leave this place.

"We could wait in here" Was what Dylan suggested

"How would that be good?" Asked Amy

Dylan's response was "Well I'm sure someone will come take care of this mess or maybe the zombies will just leave when there is no one left within their reach"

"But there is no guarantee that they'll leave when there is no one left" Said Jake

Greg jumped and said "But maybe calling the police would be a good idea"

I thought about it for a second and said "Judging by the 2 explosions from earlier I don't think that there is anyone available but we could try calling"

Greg pulled his phone and noticed he had no bars asking everyone else we all had no bars, he slammed his fist on the bed and the lady started making a growling sound which freaked us all out to say the least. We all paused just to make sure we all heard the same thing and she kept doing it. Dylan, Gregory and Jake wanted to get closer but Amy and I moved away from her.

"Get away from her" Amy whispered

"Why?" Dylan asked

"I have a bad feeling about this" Amy replied

Jake and Amy shrugged off Amy's warning and got closer to try and wake her up and not long after she opened her eyes and grabbed Gregory's arms and tried to pull herself on him but Jake held her by her shoulders and Gregory held her arms tight as she struggled to try and get free

"What the fuck!?" She is one of them" Jake yelled

"She was not when I found her" Gregory defended himself "She was being chased by these fuckers and after we managed to lose them she collapsed"

"That does not matter" said Amy "She must've been beaten or something" she added

"Beaten?" Gregory asked

"Yeah I saw one of those beaten by the university exit get up and the wound was not the kind one could get up from but that one got up so got up relatively faster" Said Amy looking intently at her

Gregory argued saying "Those beaten don't get back up I......"

The lady broke free of both Jake and Gregory and the both backed off for a bit giving her the chance to get up, she looked right at us and again fear struck me and I could feel myself shaking, my mind went blank and I just could not move. Amy came beside and put her arm around me while Dylan, Jake and Gregory stood in front of us. It did not hesitate to charge at us with no sense of remorse or humanity just pure cruelty, it looked like it wanted to go after Dylan but Gregory punched it in the face and that seemed to have staggered it, which also gave me a small glimmer of hope that things would be fine. However, in the end all that did was draw her attention towards Gregory, who wanted to actually fight this thing.
