The Run

I've been running for a while so decide to shift back into my human self. As I did that I began walking at a slow pace. I look down at what I savored from the house a family photo , some food, some water, some clothes, a brush ,and my purse that has a lot of my essentials in it. I began crying when I looked at the picture. As tears streamed down my face and let them fall I began to hear voices and heard crumbling of leaves and sticks. I stop and hide in a bush. "I scent her she's around here I know it I bet alpha Jake will love this," one guy said "This might just be his mate I mean he's been looking and this is the only pack there is left." He finished. "Like anyone would want me." I mumble. "What was that?" Another guy asked "That sounded like a girl." "Shit" I whisper to myself. "Hey guys look what I found," a blonde guy says as he hold up a pear of black lace underwear. "Looks like she lost that when she was running." The first guy said with a chuckle. All do a sudden I was jerked up by the first guy. "Well well we'll look what we've got here little miss Kasey Jones he says as he pulls my hair tighter. "What the hell do you want with me!" I scream. "Well our alpha has been loo-" "MINE!" I hear someone cut him off and me being pulled into a pear of masculine arms. "Alpha Jake hello we fou-" "Shut the hell up and get in the car I'll be right there." He commands them. "Are you ok did they hurt you?" Jake asks frantically moving my hair out of my face he stops and stares at me. "Your beautiful" he says still staring. "I am?" I ask so confused. "No one has ever told me that." "Well you are" he replies. "Wait hold on so your my mate?" Just then did I notice the sweet scent of chocolate and honey. "Yes, I'm Jake and I'm guessing your?" "Kasey" I reply quickly. "We'll lets get you to the pack house and get you settled then we can talk." He says as we walk away to the car
