" y/n." i shook hands with alice while she smiled sweetly. Rosé hugged her sister afterwards and acted cute towards thw whole day.

Lisa at the other hand, pouted. She said she never received much attention after Alice came.

" but alice unnie is so pretty!" lisa took a photo of rosé and alice while looking at it in awe.

she sure are pretty but nothing could stand out when it comes to jennie. I love her deeply but looks like she don't like me the way i do. Maybe she just see me as her nurse.

I sighed before walking towards the table that rosé and alice were at. I sat down and took out a file from my bag.  Alice flipped through precisely and carefully before returning it to me.

" so you want me to help you get the ownership to save all the patients here?" she asked me carefully.

I awkwardly laughed, " i know it sounds childish and all-"

I was cut off when Rosé burst into tears. I shockly wiped her eyes using the tissues while she continued to sob. Lisa hugged her and glared at me. I gulped.

" its fine. I am just getting emotional." rosé smiled a little.

" back to topic. I agree to help you...but with one conditon." alice pointed out her point.

I let her continue her sentence and she cleaned her throat.

" let rosé get a better salary." alice stated concernly making rosé look at her in shock.

I smiled and nodded, " thats for sure."

We shooked hands with each other. Looks like you are going down, taehyung.

Time skip

The moment i entered jennie's room,  i was engulfed into a tight hug. I looked at the tiny cat that was hugging me tightly.

" sorry..." i could her her mumbles. She apologized for what she did and of course i forgive her. She never told me the reason though. I wanted to know why but she just won't tell me.

I gave up on asking so i just passed her the sandwich and told her about alice.

Urh...our lifesaver!

" so you mean...there is a 50% chance to get the hospital." Jennie asked me while munching on my sandwich before moaning at the taste.

" ye. I am still trying to increase the chances."

I wiped her mouth after she was done eating. I took her hands and pulled her to let her stand up.

I know that she might not agree but...i am gonna try it anyways.

I made sure she stood right infront of me before i kneeled down. She gasped as i took out a small box from my pocket.

I opened it up revealing a ring.

" will you be my girlfriend and accept this promise ring?" she intensely nodded her head and waited patiently for me to help her wear it.

I slide the ring into her fingers before kissing it. She smiled before hugging me tightly.

We decided to spend the next few hours to talk about our relationship in the future.

We laughed, smiled throughout no aware that someone heard everything. Not someone...but 2 people instead.

Alice pov

After i setted up all the things tgat are needed in the court, i stretched and yawned.

Its late already yet i am still here helping that y/n guy. He sure looks kind and good...but nah. Not my type.

Just as i was about to call y/n, i heard a soft knock on my door. The door opened, a head pop out from it. Ah..ny sweet little chipmunk.

" yes, rosie?" i asked her softly as she happily sat on my bed. She layed down before motioning me to go to her.

Once i wad near enough, she pulled and tackled me into a bone crashing hug.

" you knew i missed you so much!" she whined like child wanting candies.

I patted her head and grinned happily.

" won't lisa be sad if you stay here?" rosé laughed at my statement.

" she deserve it for eating my snack." she acted out an angry face and folded her arms.

" jisoo taught you well for acting huh?" i joked making her laughed out loud.

After catching up with our childhood, she dozed off and fell asleep in my arms.

Why is author making the whole story so complicated? Why must the director's brother be my ex?
