TXT Kai: 19/20 University Sophomore Student (Puma Era)
As the clock struck 9, Heuning Kai and his friends downed their second round of beer. Their speech slurs as much as their body movement while the fuzziness began to take over. All of their senses fall numb and their faces become flush as Kai's phone lit up with the shrill tone of an incoming phone call. It was from Yeonjun. Above the noise of someone singing on stage behind him, he decided to step away to answer. Kai knew that something must have been up if Yeonjun was calling this late. "Hello?" Kai said with a slurried concern. On the other end of the line, Yeonjun was sobbing softly. Through his tears, he breathed out that there had been a bad argument with his boyfriend and he had locked himself in the bathroom. In his words and staggered breaths, there was a brokenness in him begging for Kai to pick him up.
Kai's eyes widened and knew that it was time to go. He chugged a quick glass of water, grabbed his leather jacket and keys and took off without saying good-bye.
