The Personal Party

John's POV
I was hanging out by the art room when I get a text from Laff, I look down to read it, "hey!come to me and Hercs dorm, it's a emergency!"
Is something wrong? Are they okay? A rush of worry hits me as I shove my phone in my pocket and rush out to the dorms. I frantically open the unlocked doors of Laffs and Hercs dorm to see Laff and Herc siting on the floor getting manicures from this girl with Brown fluffy hair and a yellow hoodie. Laff smiles and yells "HEY JOHN" I stand there "y-You guys scared me-" I say panting, Laff looks at me confused "comment venir?" He asks. I assume he was asking why, "you said it was a emergency-"
"Oh! Yeah it was a way to get you here faster" he says giggling evilly. I notice that Laff looks beat up and bruised. But that's pretty normal, he got in a lot of fights back in high school. So I'm pretty sure he just got in one today.
"Y'know is never miss doing my nails so you didn't have to do that." I say, "I know" Laff says. I sit next to them, "Soo-" I turn to the girl doing their nails. "Who are you?" I ask. "I'm Peggy!" She replies with a big grin on her. I smile a ton,
"Yeah we saw her sitting around on a bench and invited her over to our party" Laff says
"If this is a party it's a sad lookin' one"
Herc chuckles, "hey!" Laff nudges him playfully
Peggy looks at me "want your nails done?"
"Absolutely!" I reply happily, she smiles and says "okay I'll do yours when I'm done with Herc's nails" I nod.
Next thing we know we see Burr come in
"Hey burr~" Laff goes over to him, "wanna get your nails done?" he looks at him smirking. "Absolutely not" he replies bluntly. "I'll pay you 20 bucks~" Laff bargains.
He thinks for a bit and gives in "fine but only because I know you will force me either way, so I might as well get some money while I'm at it." Walks away to the kitchen right after he said fine.

"Hey do you have any booze here?" I ask enthusiastically. "You know it!" Laff replies reflecting with the same enthusiasm
"Pass some to me!!" Herc exclaims.
"I want some too!!" Peggy lifts her arms in the air in excitement.
Laff gives everyone a bottle of beer each. I get two on accident and give one to Burr,"Oh I don't want any.... I don't like drinking" he adds. Burr gives me a friendly smile and gives it back. I give a understanding smile, "Well, more for me!"
but Laff had another thought "Lame!" He exclaims teasingly. I laugh a little and put the bottle in the fridge. "Okay freckled boy come here It's your turn" I laugh, "my name's John" "I know" she replies and smirks
While I was getting my nails done, Alex comes in. I light up and begins to excitedly greet him, I trail off with my greeting once I noticed that he wasn't alone. Once I notice that it felt as if time stood still.
"HAMMY" exclaims a now, tipsy Lafayette, startling me back to the present. Alex laughs and says "what even is this party??" He notices me whispers something in the mystery girls ear, and walks over to me. "Hey John! This is my new girlfriend Eliza!" He says happy as can be. "Hi! I heard a lot about you John!" She smiles sweetly. I swallow my feelings and reply, "H-hey...Eliza.." She smiles more "nice meeting you!!" She says, and I reply "nice meeting you too..." and I give her a welcoming smile. she's so nice.
"Okay so let's get this party started!!!"exclaims Alex. That's the last sentence I heard before the conversation trailed off to the background. I look down in deep thought, Peggy taps my hand, "you okay?" Cutting through the silence that lingers only in my ears. "Huh? O-oh uhm- yeah..." I stammer.
Peggy looks at me not buying it. She looks behind her and looks back "Hm.. why don't we ditch this party And walk around?" She asks rebelliously, I chug my drink, I pause and look at Alex with the Eliza, ".....That would be nice.."
she finishes my nails and we slip out.
