Hello beautiful! <3 I'm gonna talk about what I think the different subcategories of nymphs are! But remember, you don't have to be one category, you can mix and match, and do whatever you want! I think it's more fun to not restrict myself to one exact style! :) I might do a second part to this later on, because I'm sure I don't have every subcategory.
~Classic Nymph (American vintage) <3
This, in my opinion, is one of the most popular nymphette styles! This style is inspired by Dolores from the movie "Lolita". When trying to get the "classic nymphette" look, some staples to have are black and white saddle shoes, gingham pieces, sailor shorts, matching sets, Mary Janes, skirts, dresses, anything red or anything with a cherry pattern!
(These are some examples of Dolores's outfits in the movie)
~Angelic Nymph <3
This style mainly focuses on pastels, floral patterns, and white. Tennis skirts are a must have! Along with anything soft, or dainty! (This is one of my person favorites)
~Grunge/Gothic Nymph <3
This is a category I'm not really familiar with so if I get anything wrong I'm sorry! From my knowledge, gothic or grunge nymphs typically wear colors such as black (duh), white, red, dark blue, and even a dark purple! Some fabrics to look for when shopping are velvet, lace, and leather! As for shoes, I think any boot or chunky shoe would go great with this style! :)
~Forest Nymph <3
The forest nymph is a style that mainly focuses on earthy colors, some pieces you absolutely need are anything corduroy, cardigans, anything brown or green, boots, sandals, oxfords, and pretty dresses!
~Bubblegum Nymph <3
This style is similar to the "angelic" because it deals with pink, but the bubblegum nymphette is usually wearing bright colors, and bright pinks! (I'm sorry there isn't more bright pink clothing items, I had a hard time finding clothes that matched the aesthetic)
I hope you guys liked this chapter! It took me some time because I made all the picture collages my self! :) I hope I didn't get anything wrong! I think I'm personally a mix of all of these styles (except for the gothic one) ! A lot of items can go with every style (especially the shoes), so remember to have fun when picking clothes for the nymph style, and don't worry about fitting into a certain category because you can be a combination!
