Ray of Sunshine

In a cavern In a canyon, Excavating for a mine.

Kim Namjoon is the adoptive father of Jung Hoseok. Jung Hoseok was a complete ray of sunshine. He was so kind and helpful, it was like he was the boost of energy everybody needed. He was only 13 years old. He wanted to become a Doctor or a Teacher when he was older. Namjoon was so proud of Hoseok, he loves him for who he is. He doesn't care if anybody dislikes him and his son, all that mattered was his precious Hoseok.

Hoseok was as clever as his dad. He looked up to him hoping he would be like him someday. All that mattered to him was his dad and his best friend named Yoongi. Yoongi was very special. He learned very fast and he wanted to be a Police Officer or a Lawyer one day.

The ray of sunshine was always humble and brave. He always helped the homeless out. He shaved his head when he was 8 because he wanted to donate his long hair to people who needed it most. Oh that ray of sunshine.

Kim Namjoon POV
Today is the day I pick up my new three year old son. Jung Hoseok. When I first met him, his smile was as bright as the sun. I can officially call him my own. I just knew from the first time I saw him that we were gonna have a strong bond.

I drove to the location that I was picking him up at and I was very nervous. I set up his room and even put a little tent in it. I just hope our bond will not break.

I pulled into a parking spot and went inside to the lady at the front desk.

"Hello! What can I do for you today?'' The lady asked.
"Im here to pick up Jung Hoseok.'' I say.
"Ok follow me this way!" She said and showed me the way to my son.

Once we arrived in the room I shed a tear as I saw my little Hoseok. He's so precious, he makes my heart melt. I walked over to him and picked him up. I held him close.

"H-hi!" The three year old said. "Hi baby." I said and shed more tears. He seems to still be learning words so I am gonna make sure I teach him as much as I can.

"I'm gonna take you to your new home. I'm gonna make sure your healthy, and love it there." I say as I take his clothes he had and walked to sign the rest of the papers.

When I finished with the papers I grabbed Hoseok and thanked the lady. I then walked out and put him in his car seat.

"My son... I will make sure I give you all my love. No matter the cost." I say.

I drive us to the house and then got Hoseok and took him inside to his new room.

"A-are you my new dada?" Hoseok said as I tucked him in cause it was late.
"Yes sunshine, I am." I told him.

I started to sing him to sleep. "Why would you ever kiss me? I'm not even half as pretty. You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester. But you like her better. Wish I were Heather." I sang to him. When I heard little snores I stopped singing and smiled down at my baby. Oh how I love you.
