Every story has two sides, the good guys and the bad guys. Almost every story in the world is so focused on the good guys that you almost forget the the bad guys have a story too. But sometimes you can't help but wonder, "what do the people that were forced onto the bad side have to go through?" I'm P.N. Malfoy and it's my job to record the entire story of the Battle of Hogwarts from the perspective of two Death Eaters who fell in love. The following story is true and happened not too long ago. This is the story of Charli Johnson and Draco Malfoy; and how they were involved in the 2nd Wizarding War. Our story starts in 1996, the summer before their sixth year at Hogwarts.

*Knockturn Alley/Borgin and Burkes*

Draco had just figured out that Charli was a Death Eater not too long before this, and this just made his anger grow even more. The Death Eaters were ruining his life and knowing that she was apart of that for so long without him even knowing was tough. They would try to just ignore each other but that proved very difficult considering that they lived in the same house. This lead to very big yelling matches over the littlest things, and they were very common.

This was the day of Draco and Bella's Death Eater Initiation Ceremony and Charli begged Narcissa to let her not be apart of it. As much as she didn't want Charli there if she didn't want to be, it wasn't up to her.

They turned down the windy path of Knockturn Alley, arriving at Borgin and Burkes not too long after. Charli was the last to go in but stopped before because she had heard a noise. She looked down the alley and walked into the shop after seeing nothing.

Greyback closed the curtains and they began the ceremony.

Saturday, August 9, 1996-

Draco and Bella were now branded with the Dark Mark and were official Death Eaters. Bella was given the task of fixing the Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirements; while Draco was given the task of killing Dumbledore. Bella immediately went to Charli for help with anything she needed that involved this new lifestyle, but Draco insisted that he didn't need any help from anyone. Right before dinner, Charli went to Draco's room and try and make peace with him, and offer him her help. She knew that Draco didn't have it in him to kill anyone and really wanted to help him. However, he blew up in her face for even suggesting that he couldn't handle it on his own.

*Draco's Room*

Draco: It's your fault anyways! Charli: How is it my fault, I'm trying to help you?! Draco: Well, I don't want your help! Charli: But you need it, and I'm the only one who can help you! Draco: I would rather do it on my own then have you help me! Charli: Fine!

Charli stormed out and slammed the door behind her. She went back to her room and stayed in there until dinner. Draco was still very upset and decided to go to the library to clear his head.

*Malfoy Manor Library*

In the library, Draco found his mother, calmly reading in her favorite chair. On the table next to her, was a beautiful candle and a nice cup of tea. You could always find Narcissa in this exact position on a nice peaceful evening like this. Draco went and sat next to her, putting his head on her shoulder. She leaned her head on his and they just sat there in silence for a few seconds, until Narcissa asked him a question.

Narcissa: So... what was that all about? Draco: What was what all about? Narcissa: Draco, you really think I couldn't hear you two? Draco: Yeah, I guess you're right. Um... she was trying to convince me to let her help me, but I don't need her help. Narcissa: Are you sure? Draco: Yes, mother. I can do this, I have to. Narcissa: Yes, it needs to be done... but you don't have to do it alone. Charli knows a lot about this and you would benefit from having her on your side. Draco: What do you mean? Narcissa: She has more experience with this and there is nothing wrong with needing her help every once in a while. After all, she just wants to see you succeed. It doesn't mean she's doubting you, she just wants to increase your chances.

Draco stayed in the library with his mother until dinner. Charli came down for dinner, ate her food, completely silent, then went right back to her room. It was pretty clear that she just wanted to be left alone so he swore to himself that he would work things out with her the next day, when she was in a better mood.
