(Izuku POV)
I cautiously walk down the damp, dark, foggy hallway. I sense multiple presences down at the bottom. I am walking when I hear a noise behind me and saw that the entire hallway was collapsing behind me. I start running, but I am halted as the floor in front of me isn't there. I try everything I can, but it is no use. The stone bricks underneath me and around me are falling. I decide to jump down the place where none of the bricks have fallen, and fall down for what feels like minutes. 'Is this it? Am I dead? I'm sorry Shoka. I'm sorr-' He then blacked out.
(3rd Person POV)
Izuku woke up and smelled flowers. 'Pansies? Cosmos?' He thought to himself. He got up off the purple flowers and started walking through some ruins. He felt uneasy because there was black liquid pouring from the walls. There was patterns that looked like faces and he could've sworn he saw a figure moving through some leaves on a pillar that had fallen over. "This place is amazing!" He exclaimed out loud. He entered a door and lit a stick he found on the ground on fire with his quirk. He noticed a flower patch still lit by sunlight. There is one flower that stood out, a flower with a blue tint to it. It started moving around and he noticed that it had a face! It looked startled and it said "W-Who are you? Why are you here? You're not with T H E M are you? Are you here to finally take me away?" "Woah, Woah, Woah. I'm not sure who "THEM" is but I was brought here by a message from..." He pulls out the note. "Sans, Papyrus, and Asriel. Do you know them? Also, ARE YOU A TALKING FLOWER?" "Why yes I do know those three! Also yes I am a talking flower, we are quite common down here. There is a flower pot over there, put me in it and I can lead you to those three. They are taking siege in the one place where T H E Y haven't taken over, Snowdin Town." The flower said. Izuku grabbed the flower pot and placed the flower in it. "My bad, I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Izuku." "I am Blume, nice to meetcha Izuku." The flower responded.
(Timeskip a couple minutes)
Izuku and Blume had taken off. Izuku was learning how to fight monsters that infested the ruins. He had just defeated one when he asked "Why do I keep getting gold from these little monsters?" "It is our currency down here. Next I'm going to teach you how to "act". When you use act in a fight you have the chance to spare the monsters instead of kill them. In these ruins it is very easy to spare these monsters. You simply analyze the monster and determine what would make it happy." Izuku gets into a fight with a froggit and decides to compliment it. "You look very uh- um... slimy today?" the froggit croaks in acknowledgment. Izuku then walks past it and sees something appear next to him. "XP up" He asks Blume, "what is xp again?" "It is a system where the more you have the more health and power you have." Blume responds cheerfully. They continue walking for a while. They have some talks about how people are down in the underground (how was the fall). Blume informs him that a house blocks the way of the ruin exit.
They arrive at the house
*knock knock* Izuku knocks on the door. The door opens slightly and Izuku sees kind yellow eyes peer through. The door opens fully and a goat lady appears behind the door. "Hello! I haven't seen a human down here for quite some time!" She says sweetly. "Hello Blume! Good to see you" she says after seeing the talking flower in the pot. "Hi Toriel! You holding up okay from T H E M? "Yes Blume, I'm doing fine. Who is this young man?" asks the now-named Toriel. Blume responds with a quick, "yeah" and they enter Toriels home. "Man I should have brought some food with me, i'm so hungry I could eat a whole goat!" 'Toriel has a worried look on her face' "Oops sorry Toriel, I didn't mean literally." Toriel calms down and asks, "Would you like me to make a pie?" Izuku responds "Yeah that would be great!" Toriel shows him to a room and tells him "Here my child, you may now rest. Stay as long as you would like, I haven't had company for a long while. Izuku does admit that he is very tired. He scans the room and notices a picture on the desk. It is a picture of Toriel and another 3 figures, two of them were skeletons, one tall and proud-looking, the other slouching and cool. The last picture looks like another goat-creature but taller and wearing a cape. His face is blurred out and looks to have water marks on the page ear his face. Izuku walks over to the bed and climbs in, amazed by how much of an improvement it was from his little hobbit hole. He almost immediately falls asleep, letting the darkness help him drift off into a daze.
(dream - 3rd person POV)
Izuku wakes up in front of a large dark-stone castle. He assumes he is back on the surface in his dream, but he notices that the sky is a void and everything is dark. He picks up a lantern from a nearby guidepost and continues into the castle. As soon as he enters the door everything goes black. 10 seconds later he is back but in a damp, mossy area. Still in the castle, he could tell by the stone-brick walls, he looks around and sees cells upon cells. He sees that he is in a dungeon. He looks at the cells, walking by, each occupied by sad looking figures, all with blurred faces he continues for a while until he stumbles upon something familiar. It is a goat figure wearing a cape, but he looks disheveled and worn out. He notices there is another person in the cell. It is a woman that looks like a human adult. She looks up and swiftly charges up to the bars and lets out a snarl. Izuku falls from the shock and is suddenly woken up.
(Back in Toriels house - 3rd person)
"Izuku? Izuku? Izuku?!" exclaims Toriel, waking up the sleeping child. "The pie is ready, I wasn't sure if you wanted Butterscotch or Cinnamon so I just combined them. I hope you like it my child." Toriel says happily. Izuku groggily gets out of bed, still shaken by the dream. He stumbles over to the table and sits down. He grabs the fork and licks his lips, poking the pie and lifting the fork up to his mouth. As the delicious treat hits his tongue his eyes light up. It is easily the most delicious thing he has ever tasted. He compliments Toriel and finishes the rest of the pie. He walks into the living room and leans on the windowsill to talk to Blume, who is sitting under a light. He tells Blume about the dream "I was walking in an endless hallway in a dungeon. I saw a cell with two prisoners. I saw one in a picture that was in a room Toriel let me stay in. The other was a human who rushed up to the bars and woke me from my sleep. Do you know what that could mean?" Izuku exclaims curiously. "Yes, I have an idea." Blume exclaims seriously. "The are making their first move."
