P.O.V.: Circus Baby

I opened the door to the room and put my bag next to my desk. Then I took Ennard's bag and put it next to my bag.

When I turned to the window, I saw Ennard, who had sat down on the window sill and was looking out.
Then I remembered my mother's sentence on the front door ...

Was Ennard thinking about it?

I went to him and put my hand on his arm.
"Ennard ...?" I asked carefully.

He turned his head to me, smiled and whispered, "What is it, darling?"

Why is he whispering?

I blushed and looked down slightly.
"About earlier ... umm ..." I stammered.
It was really hard for me to talk to him about that ...
Ennard got off the windowsill, put his hand on my hip, his other hand on my cheek and whispered: "I would have preferred to hear from you, but now I know why you are always so nervous ...".

I wanted to back away, but I couldn't.
