"What's wrong y/n?"

Draken was everything you could ask for a boyfriend.

He was the type to give it his all and he's extremely loyal to those he cares for. He was a loving and faithful boyfriend, any person would be lucky to call him their significant other... right?

That's how y/n first felt when the relationship started. The girl was over the moon when the boy agreed to date her. She didn't expect the infamous Ken Ryuguji to say yes to her of all people.

He was everything she could ask for.

Caring, thoughtful, considerate, faithful.

He remembered everything about her down to the little details that might seem insignificant. He made sure to not neglect her and took her out every now and then despite his busy schedule. He didn't hide anything about his gang life but also made sure to never involve the girl directly. He made sure that her safety wouldn't be at risk because of what he does and who he's affiliated with.

They were open with each other and their communication area wasn't lacking as well.

Their relationship would look perfect in anyone's eyes.

Their relationship was perfect in y/n's eyes.

But everything changed when she finally got to meet the boss and best friend her boyfriend talked about often.

Sano Manjiro or Mikey as he likes to be called.

It was a name that was often mentioned in Draken's stories. Stories that were either just praises or complaints, no in between.

So when Draken had told her that he would be introducing her to his best friend the girl was excited. In her head, it was Draken putting more trust in her. It was him opening up more to her.

It's not as if she hasn't met his other friends, she just never met the one he talked about the most.

She can tell that the fondness and care Draken had for Mikey was on a different level compared to the rest. The two had a bond and an undeniable deep trust for one another.

So to make it short, she felt honored that she was finally getting to meet the person her boyfriend talked highly about.

But now all she wishes is that she never met him.

It's not because he was bad, he was the opposite in fact. What she had in mind when Draken said "President of Toman" didn't match to how the president actually was. He was the complete opposite of what she had assumed.

Perhaps that was wrong on her part.

Needless to say she felt comfortable around Mikey. The boy was friendly and offered a big brother vibe she has never experienced.

It wasn't Mikey or his personality that made her feel sour.

It was his words.

"You know y/n-chin, you remind me of my sister—"

The moment y/n heard those words her heart dropped. After all, she was already aware of who Mikey was. That also meant she was aware of the sister the boy mentioned.

Y/n knew her,

and she knew her well.

She knew her significance not only in Mikey's life but also Draken's.

"— Emma. You're really just like her."

It was as if everything finally made sense.

Draken saying yes to her despite him rejecting so many of their female classmates. Also despite the fact that they haven't interacted that much when she decided to confess to the boy.
