Bruce 's PoV

I can't believe her sometimes. She just goes ahead and does such unspeakable acts. How can she do this to me. I'm still not used to this role and she goes and drops another one on me. I grab my throbbing head and look at my beatiful wife dead in the eye to see that her shameless twinkling eyes held no remorse or sympathy for me.
"So you are telling me, that you went ahead and adopted another child off the streets, who doesn't even know our identity, who I have never even met before today, with out telling me." I asked tiredly
" yup and nope, he does know our identity as I told him recently," percy said smiling somewhat sadistic, probably enjoying the misery she is putting me through at this moment.
" percy! You met him a month ago,how could you just go and do that without telling me." I groaned.
I have known this woman for like 25 years now and she still manages to surprise me.
" listen here Bruce, this child is talented smart and needs a family , I might have known him for only a month but I would gladly do my all to protect him." She said, I recognised this certain tone that indicates, she isn't kidding with me right now and that there's no point in trying to change her mind .
Without saying another word she turned and went out of the batcave to the dining room where the kids were enjoying Alfred's infamous cookies with hot cocoa.
I regret making her upset but I was worried. Being exposed to crime fighting is not easy neither is being the son of a billionaire. I know that the kid will want to join in the business qnd he will also be affected by the media who will most probably start rumours due to him being from the streets. Dick definitely went through this and it was hard on him but I guess percy being there made things easier. I also know that these excuses are being used to avoid my guilt of not being a good father. While I do have somewhat of a good relationship with dick he usually turns percy for everything, then damian is gone , even if he is no longer alive I still never found the body to honour him with a good burial. It seems that all I am and will ever be good at is crimefighting.
Sighing at the voice of my inner thoughts I changed out my uniform and started to head upstairs. I was intending to go straight to bed when I heard laughing, curiosity getting the best of me, I went the dining room and glanced inside.
The scene in front of me warmed my heart, it was percy who was laughing. She looked so happy as she was spinning around with dick on her back and with Jason in her arms in the front. She hadn't smiled much less laughed like this since damian went missing. I heard Alfred come up behind me from the kitchen with a plate of more blue cookies.
" mistress percy is happy with the new addition to the family, I believe it that it would be even better if you learn to except him as well master Bruce," Alfred said wisely as ever qs he continued into the room announcing the arrival of more treats
As the three sat back down at the table I cod feel jason peeking at me from beside percy.
At this moment I decided that I wouldn't let the past hold me down any longer and that this image in front of be would be my new goal. And that would be to maintain this and to make sure no one in my family ever be hurt again
Putting a soft smile on my face I went inside the room and introduced my self to Jason
(When leaving the batcave)
Percy's PoV
Stupid Bruce, how can a genius be so idiotic sometimes. I am so pissed at him right now, at least I want to be. I know somewhere inside that he is just worried qnd that he is somewhat right to be. I also know that most of this is just his insecurities getting in the way again. Trying to forget about the earlier conversation I went to the dining hall. The sight of dick and Jason conversing adn laughing while enjoying cookies made me successful in forgetting my anger. They are just so effing adorable how can someone not want these two angels to be apart of their family.
Sneaking up behind dick I snatched the cookie he was about to inhale and inhaled it myself.
" mommm that was mine ,get you own cookie " he whined watching the cookie disappear from his sight.
" hehe , I didn't see your name on it so I took the liberty to claim the treat myslef" I said smirking at his adorable expressionof pure annoyance. Glancing at Jason I saw that he was trying and failing to hold back his laughter.
3rd PoV
Percy went and grabbed Jason in her arms and started tickling him. Being distracted with the child in front of her she didn't notice dick taking his revenge by jumping on to her back.
Percy started spinning around with both children on her. Most people seeing this would be afraid of them getting hurt due to the children not being that young, but not people who knew percy. Of course the hero of olympus would be able to carry to children at once without breaking a sweat.
After continuing to play for a while they noticed Alfred coming in with their treats. Sitting down they attacked the cookies, inhaling then ad if they were breathing in air.

Upon seeing Bruce's change in attitude percy smiled and looked at her family lovingly, her brain couldn't help but think about how it much better it would be if damian hadn't gone missing.

(Somewhere in the middle of of the hideout of the LoA)
A child who was being tutored on the topic of history suddenly sneezed.
