Chapter 1

Nash P.O.V.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I woke up to my loud stupid alarm clock. I got up and turned it off. I don't think I'm ready for this new school today.

"Hayes get up!" I yelled at my 14 year old brother Hayes, while throwing a pillow at him as hard as I could.

"I'm up. Now get out." He groggily said.

"Fine. Were leaving at 7:15. And its 6:23 right now, so hurry up." I told Hayes while going to my room to get dressed and take a shower.

I went to my bathroom and turned on some warm water. I got undressed and hopped in the shower. I let the warm water roll down my head and back while thinking what can happen at school today.

After I was done I hopped out and put a towel loosely around my waist. Then I opened my bathroom door and went to my dresser and got dressed. I got a shirt that was a black T-shirt that had a white locket on the left chest, some bandana joggers, a gray sweatshirt that said Nashty on it, and some solid red vans. I styled my hair in a quiff with a little bit of gel in it. Then I put some axe on too.

I went down stairs and ate a bowl of froot-loops. Then Hayes came downstairs in some black and white Adidas joggers, black vans, a tie-dye blue and red shirt, with his hair styled in a quiff too. He grabbed some fruity pebbles and ate a bowl of it.

"Come on. Its 6:58. We have to go." I told my brother while grabbing my bookbag.

"Okay. Let's go." He shouted while darting out the door in front of me with his backpack. We are going to walk to school because we only live 7 blocks away from it. We were walking when I saw two boys coming toward us with smiles on their faces.

One boy had dirty blonde hair in a quiff, skinny khakis, a white T-shirt, white vans, and brown eyes. The other boy looked half Asian and had his hair in a quiff also, with black Nike's, black sweat pants, a grey snapback, and a blue hoodie.

"Hi." The blonde one said with a big smile. "I'm Matthew, but you can call me Matt."

"And I'm Carter." The other one said with a smile too.

"Hi." I replied. "I'm Nash."

"Well its your first day at school today. Right?" Matt asked me.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Well if you want to you can hang with us today so we can show you around." Matt stated.

"Thanks." I told him.

--Arriving at school--

We went straight to the office when we got to school. We got my schedule. I had math as my first period and so did Matt and Carter. We went to my locker and I got my stuff for class together. We compared sheduals and we had all classes to getther except for 5th period. I had science and they had Language Arts.

---Lunch---

I went into the lunch room and looked around for Matt and Carter.

"Hey Nash!" Matt yelled to me from the right side of the lunch room. "Over here."

I walked over to the table and sat by Matt and a guy with a bandana and a tie-dye shirt on. Carter was across from me. The rest of the table were just random people from othersother periods that we've been in.

"So." Carter said. "How do you like school so far."

"Its cool and normal I guess." I said while slightly laughing mid-sentence.

"Yeah. Its pretty normal to me too." Matt said while starting to crack up.

"Well anyways, Nash." Carter said. "This is Taylor. Taylor this is Nash." He stated while motioning to each of us when he said our name.

"Hi."

"Hi." Replied to Taylor with a smile.

"Taylor has 5th, 6th, and 8th bell with you." Matt told me.

"Okay. Well let's head to class now. We don't want to be late." Taylor said while getting up and heading to our 5th bell.

"Bye Matt and Carter. Meet me by my locker after school." I told them before exiting the lunch room with Taylor.

--7th bell--

I walked into writing class and took a seat in the back of the class. I didn't notice anyone who I've met in the class, so I decided to just write randomly in my notebook. The teacher walked into the classroom and started doing attendance.

"Lee, Smith, Grier...."

"Here." I said. Then she finished doing the attendance. Then told us what our assignment is for today. We had to write about nature.

"Since we have to write about nature, we are going to go outside, but you guys aren't going to try and skip classes or else there are consenquence's. Okay class?"

"Okay." The whole class said in unison.

"Let's go." She said.

We all headed outside. The teacher sat where she could see all of us. This fence catches my attention so I end up going through a hole I found in it. But what I don't know is that I might find the love of my life in here.
