Nash's P.O.V
I'm in the school hallway waiting for some girl to move out the way of my locker. Even though our lockers are side by side, people still manage to take up like 2-3 spaces next to them. She finally moved out of the way and I put in my combination and put up my books, and got my blue jansport bookbag.
I started to walk down the hallway when I heard someone talking to me.
"Nash. Come to the woods and go to the stream." The voice said. It sounded familiar, but I can't pinpoint exactly who it is.
I started to walk down the hall again and I just ignored the voice until I was on the playground.
"Nash! Come to the woods." The voice annoyingly shouted. I looked at the gate that separated the school from the woods and I saw a figure standing there. It looked like....Cameron?
He was mouthing for me to come over there. I decided to stop being stubborn and just go to the stream.
I jogged over to the gate and put my bookbag first through the hole, then me.
I followed the faint sound of the running water just like I did the first time and I saw Cameron standing by the stream and looking down at it. I got a cold chill run up my arms and legs.
"Cameron?" I whispered.
He turned around and made eye contact with me. I felt butterflies in the pit of my stomach.
"Hey Nash." He greeted with a beautiful smile.
For get about the butterflies, they turned into a giant elephant jumping around in my stomach.
"Umm...not trying to be rude, but how come you wanted me to come in here?" I asked him not wanting to sound rude.
"Oh yeah!" He said almost like he could have forgotten. "I need your help."
"With what?" I question confused.
"To find out who killed me, to find my mom, to get closure, and to help Shawn get closure too." He stated.
"Shawn?" I asked astonished. I knew Shawn from when he used to come to my old school. We were best friends. I also had a crush on him. He was the first one that I told that I was gay. He was also an amazing singer. But when he moved away, we lost all contact. I never knew he died. I can't believe this.
